@kamilslup7743 I don't know, you could have many good players in your lobby; I know when I was starting it wasn't uncommon for me to get eliminated on Big Blue Nowadays that only happens if I'm on one of the lighter-weight machines (Stingray main)

Ahh memories. My parents got me F-Zero back in early 1993 after getting me a SNES for Christmas 1992. I remember falling head over heals in love with this soundtrack. Still sounds great nearly 30 years on.
It's amazing how it matches and sets the game's mood perfectly. A soundtrack composer's ultimate achievement. And with so many excellent hooks packed in one piece!
It’s cool that Nintendo revisited F-ZERO with F-ZERO 99, but I really wish they’d give it a brand new full-fledged game. This series deserves to be revived! I don’t know why they shelved it since the last game on the GameCube? It’s a shame though!
@@Kat-Bat Nintendo will probably test with this, to see how big the interest in F-Zero really is and then they will decide if they make a new game or not.
@Kat-Bat the only reason why is that miyamoto claims is that when a controller they see fits f zero they would make one. However back in 2011 miyamoto went to people who made burnout to make them a new f zero on wii u. But they were too busy at the time.
Yumiko Kanki and Naoto Ishida could do no wrong writing the music to this game. It was impacting then, and it can leave an impact on people today. It's that good.
This is my favourite song in the game by far. I wish I could warp back to when the Super Nintendo came out and relive it once again. Those days were awesome.
I am 44 now. When I was 14 back in 1992 I got a SNES and F-Zero as a Christmas present. I used to spend hours playing the Big Blue circuit just to hear this awesome soundtrack. Still sounds great today!
Little story: I first experienced f-zero on my snes mini (that I still have) I really liked this game but the games I played the most were Mario kart, Mario world, yoshis island, dkc, and Kirby but damn I only came back to the track cause the direct that got f-zero 99 in it never noticed how good the soundtrack is till now
Mind blown back in 1991, when my brothers and I experienced the F-Zero soundtrack on our brand new SNES with its independent, eight channel PCM capable Sony chip. Especially comparing it to the older NES with its "dependant" five-channel mono sound that was controlled by the 65C02 CPU, so the soundtrack would often slow down when there were too many sprites onscreen then speed up again.
I remember as a Kid I would always move around on my chair or bed to simulate the car vibrating beneath me, this song has something about it that just makes you tense up and feel like you're going at light speed on a highway
For me this is the song that sets the tone for the entire SNES library. A song full of adrenaline and epicness. To think that this early in the console's lifespan they made sure to let you know that the Super Nintendo wasn't any joke.
I've been searching "best snes theme" on TH-cam, for me it's this one. It was also incredible at this time because it was one of the first games sold with the snes and a great demo of this "new" 16bit technology. For me it represents perfectly the transition between 8 and 16 bits chiptune music.
It's 2024 and it is still a masterpiece.

It is now 2022, and this is still a masterpiece
I have the game still
Everyone has their favorite F-Zero song, and it’s Big Blue.
Mine was white Land 1
Mute city easily surpasses this
Ok but port town and Silence
Mine is Red Canyon actually!
I mean, Big Blue is my second favourite, but still.

After Nintendo Direct today, 14th of September 2023, I had to come back to this song specifically.
The things the composer managed to pull of with the extreme limitations of the SNES audio is downright godlike.
