Uses Light of Foliar Incision and 4 piece Gilded Dreams Lisa: Electro Sub DPS/Support and Defense shred. Uses Hakushin Ring and 2 piece Thundering Fury/2 piece Emblem of Severed Fate Nahida: Dendro Sub DPS, EM Buffer, and Dendro Resist Shreder. And with Zhongli's shield, I don't have to waste time dodging and thus letting me maximize the number of projection attacks. Plus, as both an Alhaitham and Lisa simp, I just couldn't resist having the Akademia's two finest students working together, along with the Archon of Wisdom herself. Zhongli is kind of the odd one out... but he's "Knowledgeable in All Things" so I think he still fits conceptually.
Wow de Q-Swap technique is awesome, definetly gonna try to master it. For the rest of the combos...i didn't understand nothing I'm dumb as hell, I'll try to find the best rotation I can pull out as a mobile player
I enjoy using him in a double electro double dendro team with Keqing, Raiden, Al, and Yaoyao. If his burst is up when I swap to him, I quickly get 3 mirrors and make him a burst support at that time and utilize keqing during his burst. If his burst isn't up, I use the three 3 mirror attacks until they fall off to 2, and then use Raiden's burst both for dmg and to battery everyone up. Its sort of a luxury team that isn't in any way optimized but its fun and keeps me on my toes to try and make it optimal without it just being another basic Genshin-style "safety dance".
I'm running a very similar comp. Alhaitham, Keqing, Nahida, and Sucrose. My rotation is Keqing to open and apply electro, Sucrose to burst and boost EM for the party, Nahida link and burst, 3 mirror Alhaitham combo and burst, and Keqing burst. The combo basically pumps everyone's EM through the roof, making a lot of reaction damage and giving a lot of particles to make spamming bursts possible.
For Diluc is an r5 debate club better than the prototype claymore? I just remembered that buying billets is a thing, and crafted the prototype claymore. The thing is, my debate club was already lvl 75, and I don’t want to waste ore
This was fun to watch even tho I don wanna pull for em now at all but I feel like his more technical play style is a sign for better things to come. I mostly played hard games before genshin esp hack n slash so nice to kno I came out real effort in now instead of unga bunga lol
making alhaitham's kit complicated in a game like genshin is like trying to turn a prius into a sports car but only driving it on residential streets, like what is the point lol. The mobs aren't challenging, you do the same kind of quests over and over again, people will eventually do spiral abyss for the primos not because they actually enjoy the fights. With this kind of gameplay, people WILL want and appreciate nukers more than "technical play style that they'll have to repeat ad nauseum every day until they get the next flavor of the month character". The only thing that should be appreciably brain-intensive in this game is the puzzles and the lore. Whacking monsters that barely fight back and have mechanics you can ignore if you hit hard enough or dodge on time is not something i want to complicate by min maxing how long i can keep his dendro infusion so i can keep hitting 4-5 digit skill damage instead of 3 digit normal attacks.

No more simple things like e then q then na as usual but to actually reply to some of ur reply I jus wanna say I kinda have hope for genshin lol there’s still a path for it to switch around from being so mundane and boring as hell regardless of changing difficulty so ig technical characters jus feel more immersive like you’re actually playing the guy. Hope they change tho cuz I kinda drained the entire game in 6 months of playing
Try using Al with diona c6, nahida, and fichel. Diona will heal/shield/and give 200EM, Nahida for battery+250EM and dendron resonance, if u have guildrd dreams u can get 1000 em on Al very easily.
I have super low ping (like under 10ms) and I find that I actually can't swap off of Alhaitham at all after using his burst and still get the mirrors/infusion. It all goes away right as I swap.
Love your videos, just started back with genshin after a two month break, would you recommend Nahida or Alhaitham (currently have neither) for best dendro for a hyperbloom team? or should i just stick with traveller? Thanks again for your videos!
Imagine saying for a character that 120 ping or less is recommended. The first time I saw this, I started laughing. You just never see that anywhere lol
I play using controller and have around 150+- ping and it hard to do proper rotation so most of time I just unga bunga and do Q, NA until 2 wave projection, E NA until 2 wave projection then CA & NA until 2 wave projection before switched to other characters, btw thanks for mentioned about we can aim anywhere when do hold E, didn't know that till now
I do a hybrid combo bexause I use e with plunge to get three mirrors then atack until have 2 mirrors and when the second mirror atack with two mirrors enter y use the Q to make a ultimate with two mirrors works very fine idk whay you think
i like the quickswap variant with the high plunge, but I do a n3c + however many ns that fit into the 4 seconds where you have 3 mirrors, to increase his field time, and try to use Q right before he goes down to 2. If you're using al-haitham in quick swap, your full rotation will be at a minimum of 18 seconds due to that's just how long his E takes to be up. If you're only going to be spending 4 seconds on him, what are you spending your actual time on for the other 14 seconds? So might as well stay on him longer.
i mean its dendro so my optimal combos are flailing around for 30secs till i 36* the abyss while eating pop tarts 🥰 but fr i use q swap n3cs/lp its solid...ty as always iw2l
As a DMC fan, it's weird seeing the advance tech that won't give you early parkinson. But good video tho, this will be very useful to my newly accuire Diluc.
It's worse unless ur on PC and with low ping [and have fast hands]. Alhaitham is very smooth to run without jump canceling, you just need to budget your stamina well for his CAs and dash cancels.
While I'm not the biggest fan of Al Haitham's damage (Although I pulled till C2); I like the direction Mihoyo as taken with the complexity of his kit. There is a different sense of accomplishment when you can maximize his damage & learn how to sustain his entire rotation.
What weap did you gave him? Mine is at C1 with sig weap and he's still does decent dmg if you keep the 3 stacks as long as possible. Having him at c2 would have elevate him more. I used Spread team with Fischl, Raiden and Yaoyao and he did roughly ard 30--60k total per rain sword.
@@amnos180188 C2 PJC. As far as DPS is concerned I keep comparing him with HuTao Vape, or Raiden Nuke Burst, Yae Aggravate; Yelan (by herself, lol) all of which feel like they give higher numbers. If I were to compare him with Keqing, Eula, Diluc, Xiao, he feels better. All said, gameplay wise he is really fun. It does feel like I actually have to 'think' in a fight, which is rare in Genshin.
@@AkshayCShetty I see. Well he's definitely not meta but he still is strong. So I guess he won't be someone people who wants meta will go for. But yeah, I hope HYV adds more characters with playstyle like this so it's not just braindead press buttons lol
I have been trying to do teams that can work together and dish damage but have 2 5 star and 2 4 star only per team. This makes the game fun for me anyway. Zhongli, wanderer, bennett and Ninnguang, where wander helps against geo resistant bad guys. kaeya heizou mona and shenhe where shenhe boosts cryo and mona burst heals (with prototype) and then kaeya dishes burst and skill damage for heizou to finish the rest with one punch. Heizou helps against cryo resistance too. Final team is Nahida, Alhaitham, xinqiu and kuki. I tried without hyperbloom using sucrose to boost EM and it was ok but the added hyperbloom reactions add more consistent damage. I am still trying to fit Kazuha and Raiden somewhere without repeating characters and I just don't know. Maybe Diona and the pyro archon gouba, i mean Xiangling but still unsure if it is optimal. The other three teams are pretty darned good and fun to play. I would say dendro is the strongest and kaeya is slightly better than my geo team in overworld thanks to freezing and heizou.
because of my higher ping, I use Q > N2C > N2/N3 > E > N3/N4 instead of the combo in the vid. I lose out a lot of DPS, but thankfully my f2p butt won the weapon when i pulled for it.
So what i was doing till now was do a charged attack then his skill (get 3 mirrors), use normal and charged attacks till his infusion ends and then use Ult as they then create 3 more mirrors and then continue the infusion based Normal and Charged attacks. Is this a bad combo for DPS compared to the one IWTL mentioned or is it similar?
He'll be on field for way too long then and his supports will run out by the time you start his second cycle. The way to play him is to use all your supports' abilities except one, use his burst, swap out and use the last support ability, swap back in, then do his combo using abilities at the right time to maintain 3 mirrors. Swap back out and use support abilities again. If he has his burst then start the same rotation again, if he doesn't and you can't battery then do hold skill, plunge, and just NA strings for 12s. Depending on who you play him with, if starting with burst it can be better to swap him out as soon as he loses 3 mirrors and not bother with the DPS drop from 1 or 2 mirror projection attacks. This is ideal for Raiden quicken as it gives her some of that field time. 12-15s support cooldowns line up pretty well with it. Even in hyperbloom comps you usually don't want to do the full 18s duration on his infusion because your supports will run out before it's done.
No you want to burst with no mirrors first usually as the his highest dps comes from having all 3 mirrors for as long as possible. With your combo you’re getting only 2 mirrors at the start and then getting 3 when you burst but since you already used your CA and skill you can’t refresh that third mirror so you’re only gonna have 3 mirrors for 4 seconds max.
I am on 100-110 ms yellow ping. Even that's inconsistent. I hope I am playing in somewhere with green ping because that's advanced swap is big brain move that maximize his support/off field dps duration. Also I never though using his HE as 3rd infusion in standard combo.
Raiden isn’t really doing anything there though. Be Better off adding xingiu and dropping fischl for Hyperbloom or dropping raiden and adding Kazuha/sucrose or zhongli
@@goodietwoshoes7238 If you’re going raiden just for the sake of generating a few more particles when she doesn’t really contribute anything else to the team isn’t worth it. Favonius on Yaoyao and decent ER on Al Haitham should be enough to satiate your ER needs. Also the extra particles from the electro resonance benefit mainly electro characters because it’s electro particles and in that team the dendro characters burst are the ones your want to worry about
@@TerraTheWise It's fine to play Hyperbloom, but then it will be, for example, Kuki doing the big dmg. It works just fine, but doesn't feel like Alhaitham doing dmg. I could add Nahida too, but want her on another team. I did gear Fischl (TF C6) and Alhaitham (Gilded C0) for dmg, with lower ER. Basically Raiden skill and Fischl-Oz provide me plenty electro and when Alhaitham runs into CD I use Yao skill into Raiden Burst and restart the rotation.
@@TerraTheWise nah, I didn't say it should be raiden, just said that the OP is referring to a double electro team. the characters you suggested as replacement for raiden aren't electro so I replied with that

Your combos are very useful especially when I use Al-haitham in Character Demo, thanks for this
Bruh I enjoy watching these kinds of vids knowing I'm too broke to even get the character 💀
I don't even have/or plan to pull Alhaiyham but i'm still watching
Wow de Q-Swap technique is awesome, definetly gonna try to master it. For the rest of the combos...i didn't understand nothing I'm dumb as hell, I'll try to find the best rotation I can pull out as a mobile player
This channel is soooo underrated.
5:59 Yaoyao's theme unbelievably suits his gameplay so well.
@@davidpotts7116 Gonna have to try this. Sounds fun!
Alhaitham has been such a beautiful breath of fresh air for me! So fun to play and figure out.
Holding E downwards seems very easy and useful tip.
I was checking my ping because I was worried it would be too high. It's 30 lol
Bro, watching this after the face reveal is messing with my brain.
For Diluc is an r5 debate club better than the prototype claymore? I just remembered that buying billets is a thing, and crafted the prototype claymore. The thing is, my debate club was already lvl 75, and I don’t want to waste ore
prototype is better
idc that i dont have alhaitham i will never not watch an IWTL video
I'm here early with out notifications on! I was just scrolling through ur profile
Great video as always!
I have always wondered, where do you get the background songs for the video?
Does anyone know?
From *IWinToLoseGaming* to *BigBrainOnSteroidGaming*
@@NM-ok9wb lol well I personally think a video like this are for ppl that want to at least go further beyond being casual and optimize or ppl that want to main or use the guy in coop cuz ur rlly jus stuck w ur one guy sometimes but nah I was really saying alhaitham himself is a good example of something good just a good sign.
I really wish I had the ping and the fast fingers (mobile problems lol) to do the ultimate swap thing, but ill try the low plunge:)
I bet that cyno will laugh so hard when hear those jocks 💀💀
I was really expecting a “hope I didn’t AGGRAVATE you with my puns” XD I really appreciated this video though
Try using Al with diona c6, nahida, and fichel. Diona will heal/shield/and give 200EM, Nahida for battery+250EM and dendron resonance, if u have guildrd dreams u can get 1000 em on Al very easily.
Q-swap tech --- well ffff. Goodbye said my 300ms ping.
I have super low ping (like under 10ms) and I find that I actually can't swap off of Alhaitham at all after using his burst and still get the mirrors/infusion. It all goes away right as I swap.
You can get an extremely rapid low plunge with hold e, I do it really often but I’m not really sure where I’m actually aiming to explain here 😂
Yeh I did it it's cool and I'd prefer to do that often 😅
geez, here I thought the puns won't stop coming. It seems not only electro was buffed, but also the puns. don't change dad 🤣🤣
Love your videos, just started back with genshin after a two month break, would you recommend Nahida or Alhaitham (currently have neither) for best dendro for a hyperbloom team? or should i just stick with traveller? Thanks again for your videos!
i would go nahida tbh,, but alhaitham is still very good
@@shadownocas cheers, hopefully there’s a who’s the strongest comparison video in the world 😂
@@junkbball2 XDD hopefully IWTL makes one.
That quick swap combo made me think about a Al-Haitham - keqing - Fischl/miko - Nahida/anemo / other flex character
I can do this on Qiqi too right, i mean she's basically a cryo Keqing right...her C4 is basically the same as his right? right? 😭
Im learning and he's so fun to play
None of the robot chicken traumatized in that video*🤓
i like the quickswap variant with the high plunge, but I do a n3c + however many ns that fit into the 4 seconds where you have 3 mirrors, to increase his field time, and try to use Q right before he goes down to 2. If you're using al-haitham in quick swap, your full rotation will be at a minimum of 18 seconds due to that's just how long his E takes to be up. If you're only going to be spending 4 seconds on him, what are you spending your actual time on for the other 14 seconds? So might as well stay on him longer.
I need this. THANK YOU
i mean its dendro so my optimal combos are flailing around for 30secs till i 36* the abyss while eating pop tarts 🥰 but fr i use q swap n3cs/lp its solid...ty as always iw2l
500k subs at the END of the year? You dream too low, my compadre.
Would you be able to do a weapon comparison video on Al please! 5 stars!
Question on how to build Kuki for Alhaitham. Should I go for the Hyperbloom set with 3 full em or for the instructor to further boost Alhaitham's EM ?
I got lost. :(
What is the meaning of N1C, N1D... Etc?
in the case of N1C, it means normal attack (1) followed by charged attack! N1D means normal attack (1) followed by Dash :)
As a DMC fan, it's weird seeing the advance tech that won't give you early parkinson.
But good video tho, this will be very useful to my newly accuire Diluc.
I love to see Ayaka with that alhaitam signature weapon
* watching observantly because i got alhaitham (50-50 win) in 30 pulls after 5 xinyans just trying to get yaoyao for my keqing *
Love experimental videos
is it normal i have like 100++ ping even though my interent 1gbs per sec, is there anyway to improve my ping? bcs other games at low ping
im just getting confused by the labeilng i know N means normal attacks but what is the D?
For c6 is it better to start with Q for the CR CD or use q after you have 3 mirrors?
would Kazuha's story sword be usefull at all for the plunges ? or would that just be a minimal boost ?
Do you think canceling the CA with a jump improve dps or is worst? mostly for when no chisels up
It's worse unless ur on PC and with low ping [and have fast hands].
R2*
I would say dendro is the strongest and kaeya is slightly better than my geo team in overworld thanks to freezing and heizou.
happy lunar new yr
because of my higher ping, I use Q > N2C > N2/N3 > E > N3/N4 instead of the combo in the vid. I lose out a lot of DPS, but thankfully my f2p butt won the weapon when i pulled for it.
We need more streams!
Nice video!
If you do a CA then skill wouldn’t that generate only 2 mirrors since using skill with a mirror up only generates one
@@Pineapple_Papi Ohh Yes, i Got it now. Thank You 😎✌️
He'll be on field for way too long then and his supports will run out by the time you start his second cycle.
@@MyKingdomforAdRevenue Thank You for that detailed info. Its even more clear to me now. 😎✌️
I know not everyone has it but having info on his C6 combo would be nice
He'll eventually make a c0 to c6 video like always, but I think he'll stretch out the limits of c0 as much as he can first
why hide uid on bottom when you're showing it in the profile/menu?
Is there such a thing as high vs low plunge damage for alhaitham or is that just xiao?
I'd recommend Alhaitham, Yaoyao, Fischl, Raiden. It's no brain hack'n'slash and you don't have to worry much about ER or healing.
Raiden isn’t really doing anything there though. Be Better off adding xingiu and dropping fischl for Hyperbloom or dropping raiden and adding Kazuha/sucrose or zhongli
@@TerraTheWise it should be double electro for the particles i assume since they said you don't have to worry about ER
@@TerraTheWise nah, I didn't say it should be raiden, just said that the OP is referring to a double electro team. the characters you suggested as replacement for raiden aren't electro so I replied with that
Can you also show us how we get Benefit on playing on phone
I fimd it hard to understand him because his burst is best with 3 mirrors but when you use mirrors for burst they disappear meaning no infusion. And you can't even have the mirrors on field for like 10 seconds cuz they all disappear. So mostly the burst is just to get mirrors?? I dont get it
Yes. The burst is to get 3 mirrors and maintaining 3 mirrors uptime bec u get more damage from that vs consuming 3 mirrors on his burst.
Tignari vs Al Haithem 👀 damage showcase!!
Feels weird being early I don't know what to comment
