What I don’t understand is why Adrian decided to continue trying to destroy oliver after learning about this... I mean this is the whole reason he went after him to begin with. Am I missing something?
@@Johan590 Yeah. Adrian Chase doesn't love his father. he is obsessed with him and has even placed him at the center of the universe and will practically consider him a god. And all this despite the man having done nothing to deserve such devotion.
At this point Adrian has invested so much of himself in his revenge against Oliver. There’s just too much momentum built up behind it for him to turn things around. He probably just enjoys torturing Oliver for his own sake now.
Adrian liked it anyway. I think it was 70% for his own enjoyment and 30% for the indirect cause of his wife's death (who I believe Adrian somewhat cared about prior to killing her)
