I have just got on to and subscribed after seeing this yesterday. love the way you have got into the "Rangey". It is refreshing to see a trader, going to this level of work and with genuine interest in quality workmanship. I have spent the better part of the day, going over the series and will be looking at the rest of the posts from now on. Chris is doing good work there in the shop and the "clean as you go" ethic, is also pleasing to see. take care and stay safe in the Covid Crisis. Best wishes from Perth, Western Australia
Thank goodness you’ve managed to get back to the LSE Rob! Certainly a car very dear to many of let’s say your more mature subscribers. Well done and please try to stay on it, thank you
Love how you clean up its all part of the detail you put into your work and shows you've got high standards. I smiled when I saw the lse cant wait to see the next vid. Nice one Rob and Chris.
URGENT: Rob, those "gear type" jack stands have been failing and they have issued over half a million recalls in the United States - make sure to inspect yours, see that the "teeth" are deep and that they are making sufficient contact with the lock; otherwise just throw them in the scrap and get the classic "bolt pin" type. Stay safe!
@@angrypants7619 Yes, the recall, but that doesn't mean they all have the same issue - most probably they all come from the same or similar type factories.
Rob using tips and tricks you and Chris show us I was able to do a 95% repair on a Hyundai I20 that my elderly neighbor caught on a bollard. He damaged the back door and wheelarch.I was able to pull out the arch by hand and using your trick with the cotton buds "painted" a bad scratch in the door.I let it harden for 2 days and then ran a buffer over it.He was delighted with the final result. Thank you so much for the content and please keep it coming.Have you got a price yet for the Cosworth respray?
Just seen an imitator even using the same introduction ! Keep up the good work , you and Chris's hard work , honesty and variety is what keeps us watching .
Glad to see you both tackling the LSE again but you have had a lot of other jobs over the last few weeks so when you get your parts lets "crack on" and give someone a cracking big motor in the future.
Hello rob, your videos make me want to Pursue my dream of fixing non runners for a profit and im going to buy a 1994 KTM KX125 for my first project. I have saw them sell for years for between 1850-6000 so at 500 quid mines is a bargain. Thanks for the amazing content and your an inspiration to me and have gave me the confidence to do what I’m about to do👍🏻😉😝
Another interesting video you are the expert. Great to see restoration work like this being done properly...What you see is what you get, fantastic work.
Fantastic you guys are keeping it real loving the content that’s showing exactly how things can go done it many times you think your gonna get more done and then you discover hidden problems but it just shows everyone you are not cutting corners and doing a first class job keep it up and both keep safe 😉
Put old engine oil in the cill. They will last and prevent rust . Drill a drain hole at the bottom. One filler at the top. Filling up. Leave overnight of as long as possible. Then drain plug holes. No worries.
Great video, glad you have a gopro now, I have loads of subscriptions, mostly drone stuff, but the new notification I always look for is your channel , it is superb !
The fact your restoring the body of that old Rover tells me you can turn a profit on it but dang that's a lot of work. They must be fairly rare and collectable to go that far, either way thanks for bringing us along.
Another busy day Rob for you and Chris, the Range Rover will be a big project, looking forward to the updates , keep safe mate, we need your updates to keep us going.
Excellent work and thanks for the content and you and Chris made me laugh when you brought the digger in to pull it out and turn it around lol keep it and hope you and rob also family are all doing well
It's coming along nicely and it's not bad at all for the age either. It makes me laugh when southerners pronounce 'sill', it always sounds like 'seal'. :P
In Belgium and the Netherlands Dinitrol has been very popular rustproofing for years. (especially during the 70's and 80's) So much so that brandname Dinitrol became the word commonly used for rustproofing a car with any waxoil
Great to see the Land Rover LSE on the channel again. Hope you get it completed before the winter. It's a big job, but great video content. Keep the spirits up Rob and Chris. 👍👍

There is nothing wrong with doing a job right. Get rid of all the rust before you stitch it back together. It may not be Concords, but it will be better; a solid, well built daily driver that can be enjoyed.
