Good video It is hard to believe that closure was 25 years ago. One of the best days of my life was an underground visit to PoA in 1976. Very sad that the buy out proposals led nowhere. Interesting to see Mr Ithell Kelly the former Gresford Manager. I met him on a number of occasions. It is often overlooked that the largest and deepest colliery ever to exist in Wales was in the North at Llay Main. Whilst Gresford was the 5th largest pit in the Principality.

Good video, my dad gave 30 years to Point and loved it. Hard to watch the closure that gave so much to the local communities.
