I love these performances where the entertainment is more important that pure technical singing.
The crazy amount of chord changes, he rides a horse that could have thrown him. He owns this bit of musical theatre.
I’ve watched every reaction of this video on TH-cam, it’s gotta be dozens. Your analysis is the best. I just have to point out that after hours of reactions to this and hundreds of comments, I’ve never heard anyone mention that he sang “City of Stars,” which won an Oscar in 2017.

He went to an open call for The Mickey Mouse Club and was instantly chosen, you may be familiar with some others that sang and danced with him in that, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Brittany Spears and JC Chasez from Nsync. He lived with Justin and his family for awhile.
Both Slash and Wolfgang Van Halen played on the studio version of the song. Also Ryan Gosling had a band called Dead Man's Bones, and it's pretty good.
About Slash - One of the two song writers said, "I sent him the song and he was like, 'This is a good song... cool, I'll play on it.'" The person he laughs after pushing his chin at the beginning is one of the writers (Ronson) for the song, the other writer (Wyatt) is on the piano right after.
He asked if the cameraman was cool with him kissing his hand! Cameraman was cool.
Billie Eilish and her brother said they could hear him doing vocal warmups in the dressing room

He has been singing since before his time on the Mickey Mouse Club. He sang in La La Land and he learned to play jazz piano for that and doesn't read music.
I'd imagine having abs of steel helps with breath support. ;) Agree on your lip color. Very flattering.
Ryan stole the show, that was great entertaining. Btw I strongly recommend a singer called Dimash - SOS - 2021. Might blow your mind how good his techniques are. Thanks

I’m Just Ken May not have won for Best Original Song, but they all did won our hearts though (Congrats to Billie and Finneas though). “What Was I Made For?” was a sad and depressing song I ever heard. I love the live version better because it has a different key than a sad & very depressing studio version. Billie is such an angel. The way she sang it ❤😢

Very nice reaction video. I've watched the original lots of times and can't get the song out of my head. A very impressive live performance from Ryan and the Kens. It was the highlight of the 2024 Oscars for sure. You can see it on the faces of the guests how much they enjoyed it. One question, though. Why is your video reversed? The words Amsterdam on the wall pic, and SHURE on your mic, are both back to front. Is it deliberate?

Billie Eilish corpsing behind him when he starts singing is funny too.
He's been acting and singing and dancing since the age of ten in the mickey mouse club.. He has had voice lessons and piano lessons and guitar, tapDancing and ballet he's had every kind of lesson imaginable.
Clearly you're not a huge fan if you don't know, he's a singer including winning an Academy Award for The musical LA.La land!
He was also in the Mickey Mouse club with Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake

A bit rude. I believe TH-cam have rules on reproduction of original content. I've seen many reaction videos and a lot of them have smaller videos, sometimes stretched, or reversed, partly striped over etc. to try and avoid TH-cam flagging / blocking them as flagrant copies of original content. It won't be an ego thing on Hannah's part.
