Its actually insane that ATBO are The Boyz junior group... because who on earth is over there scouting for IST?!?!? They deserve the raise of the century.... the sheer talent of all of those boys combined with the VISUALS!??!?! They went in 100%.
From what I know the team that scout The boyz are ex SM entertainment staff (most of the boyz staff back in cre.ker are mostly full of ex sm staff) who also scout members from a famous group like EXO, SNSD and most of sm older group but idk if they also scouting atbo too
WOW OK THEY'RE REALLY GOOD. This is the first song i've heard from them and i'm very impressed, i could've never guess that they were a rookie group. Loved the harmonizations and how simple and 'clean' the mv was, i feel like they all got their time to shine . I'll be keeping an eye on them for sure
Pd, I would highly recommend the survival show that formed them The Origin A, B Or What after you've finished produce 48. It's only 8 1 hour episodes and starts with 13 trainees so you get to know a small group of them and will get to know the members better
The choreography was done by VATA. As an ex-pro dancer myself, I found his treatment of the choreography beautifully fluid and somewhat mesmerising with the wristwatch type tempo soundtrack behind the melody lines of this song. All of which look and sound deceptively simple, only they aren't (less really is more). To fully appreciate the choreography it's better to view a stage performance or rehearsal performance. The members of ATBO said at their comeback interview, that after debut they all wanted to work more on their facial expressions to camera and I think they've definitely done that. When I heard them say that I instantly went back to the MV for Monochrome and I can now see what they meant and the improvement is obvious, they all just look far more 'visually' comfortable in the medium. For them to recognise this, and implement it so well in such a short amount of time is a real credit to their professionalism as such young performers. I'd also like to credit the stylists for this group, I've not seen them in one cringe-worthy outfit, or with overly-done 'make-up' since debut.
