Poor Killer Moth. Scared of his own teenage daughter… actually, come to think of it, that’s what *a lot* of dads fear.
Most relatable villain.
Say what you want he is a good dad
@@painvillegaming4119Or at least he's trying to be 😂😂
It’s not easy to raise a family and take over the world 😅
Only thing a father fears just as much as his wife is his daughter.
Fun fact: In the comics Killer Moth is actually a supervillain who's entire gimmick is that he has the same kind of gadgets, costumes, and vehicles that Batman has, only he is very broke and nobody takes him seriously
😂
Mans had a bat signal for villains XD
Wait are you serious?
@@mitcheltillman2461 probably a silver age vilain
@@mitcheltillman2461 yeah
Man made a moth bat signal that only villains can see
My personal favorite scene is basically Starfire slapping Kitten with her bracer, it was just so hilarious
Especially when you consider that she's not used to Earth's customs so that slap must've been the universal sign of challenging someone to a duel lol
@@ryapowaOr, "how to challenge people to a duel" is one of the first customs Starfire felt was important enough to research and memorize.
@colemanroberts1102 Maybe, but the show constantly has her unaware of human customs as she didn't even know what a date was
I love how she does it through a video call and how the bracer takes the form of a skin colored glove just so it can leave a hand print 😂
@@colemanroberts1102 I mean, she is a Warrior princess.
I will never get over the fact that Tamaraneans being descended from felines means that Starfire vs. Kitten is a literal catfight.
"Fear Itself" was such a fun way to make a horror film with superheroes. Raven's episodes are always psychologically interesting.
When I’m feeling like watching TT, this is my go to episode, also good for Halloween.
@@relyk9157 "Haunted" would be my go-to.
The way Cyborg just vanished is scary I mean come on and Starfire's is also scary that scream She does is just heart punching making You go "HOLY SHIT!"
“Date with Destiny” is legit one of my most favorite S2 episodes. The interactions between Robin, Starfire, and Kitty are the best parts for me, from the expressions, slapstick, to the funny dialogue.😄
Some of the comedy throughout the show never totally landed with me but Date With Destiny I genuinely find hilarious 😂❤️
Me too
1:44 To help specify for Ruff.
The changes in the intro is that the lyrics are sometimes in English and sometimes in Japanese. Whenever it's in English then it's an episode that moves the plot forward or will be relevant later.
If it's in Japanese then it's basically filler or a really off course from the plot.
Realistically that's not that important and shouldn't affect the reaction.
You forgot to mention that in the movie , _Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo_ , Beast Boy actually sings the English translated lyrics of the Japanese version of the theme song. (Yes, for those who don’t know, the lyrics are different!)
I thought it was a tonal thing rather than a plot thing- like not all the english intro episodes are plot relevant but they are more *serious* than the Japanese intro episodes which are usually more light hearted.
@@arkidie That is usually-if not always-the case, but what I said is true as well. Look it up!
@@arkidie Yeah you're right, if the song is in English, the episode will be more dark and serious in tone. if it's in Japanese, the episode will be more lighthearted and comedic.
Control Freak is one of my favorite villains because he's such a die hard Movie and TV Series nerd lol. Also, seeing Starfire jealous of Robin is hilarious.
Iirc control freak was even a Teen Titans (Cartoon) original vilian. So this was his first appearance in the DC universe.
He’s definitely funny cause he’s basically if a 4th dimensional being (like Myxzlplyx or Bat-mite) suddenly did a “Mask” and gave a random guy an all powerful reality defining remote.
“Would it kill you to smile?”
“That wasn’t in my training. Catwoman doesn’t love my boss for his smile.”
Unironically this show had the best Killer Moth design...and yes he's a Batman villian
It was semi based off how he look when was magically turn into a moth man monster at the time
Starfire was like "no one comes between me and my man"
starfire going feral is so hilarious
Fun Fact: Killer Moth is the Only Batman villain besides Slade to feature in the show.
Well, Slade was originally a Teen Titans villain before he became a Batman villain so it makes sense he's in this show.
Te be honest, I really like this version of Killer Moth. I don't know why, but i adore when bland, old d-list villains get reimagined and modernized! The "Harley Qunn" show, and "The Suicide Squad" do this as well.
Yeah, he's an actual moth now instead of a dude in a shite costume.
I get what you mean.
Eh, there are better examples than the Task Force X movies and Harley's silly over sense show. For example, Young Justice put some serious shine on Sportsmaster.
And sometimes, revamping an old goofy villain is just pointless. Like the tacticool Condiment King. Modernizing him and trying to make a more legit threat out of a guy like him makes him worse because he's now less entertainingly comical while still using the same base premise.
Of all the villains I’ve seen across all of media, Kitten is by far the scariest creature I’ve ever seen 😰
so satisfying to see starfire kick her ass
ME-OWW I can't with her 😂 if I was robin I think I would've just disintegrated
@@marce420.7 I would’ve already disintegrated
You obviously haven't watched the rest of this show.
@@milesbradshaw6643 Shes scarier than Trigon or Slade 😰
Fun fact, Killer Moth is a Batman villain. I really like him in this show : he's a pretty funny villain (The duo dynamic he has with his daughter is really funny), but he stills remains minimally threatening. However, I still wonder why among all the secondary villains in Batman comics they chose this one.
On modern day like this, he probely brag to his Gotham friend of how his kid got to go on a date with one of Batman kid
The fact that Kitten and Raven both have the same voice actress, Tara Strong, is hilarious to me. She also voices Gizmo which I never realised until recently.
And obviously her other prolific roles like Timmy Turner and Ben 10 etc.
Just like Hynden Walch with Starfire and Blackfire.
When you mentioned Gizmo, I couldn’t connect it to Tera (but let’s be honest, she voices like 80% of characters during this era), but you can definitely tell Kitty and Gizmo sound alike.
Actually, Lauren Tom was the main voice for Gizmo, but Tara voiced him for two episodes.
@@blackmajima Ah shit you're right, just the two season 5 finale episodes right?
Remember, during the puppet episode, Raven said her powers are based on emotion, and having control over it is important. Hence why her being afraid made her original powers unresponsive while those fear monsters were created (also being 4 eyes is similar to her mindscape episode where Cy and BB entered her mirror)
Looking back, Killer Moth isn’t that bad of a guy, he tried his best to make his daughter happy
12:22 WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT HOW ROBINS GLOVES JUST MAGICALLY APPEARED?????😂😂😂
you mean 21:23?
If ya'll don't want to jam out the alternate intro, that's on you. We all know what a bop it is.
You think all those teenagers would gather around Robin and Starfire and ask for autographs and photos?
Apparently the order of them dissapearing is the scariest Raven is to lose them. And makes sense too, so the fact that Beast Boy was the one she cares about loosing the most was such a nice detail. 😁😁👏👏💚
Honestly, I think it was in the order that made her most afraid.
Beast boy made her think about the comic relief going first. So he went first.
Robin was about to reveal something, that made her feel relief, but also afraid that something might stop him from saying it, so he got stopped.
Starfire was afraid of the basement the most, so that's where she got taken.
Cyborg is strong and was the only thing keeping her safe. So he went last.
Starfire went off on Kitten in Ep 6!
Never seen her get that Savage before. Try to mess with Robin and she goes crazy!
S2 Episode 5 is certainly an episode that shows how powerful Raven is. She even admits herself that she has to meditate everyday to keep her emotions in check, as of course her powers are tied to them. When she’s angry she goes full demon mode, and when she’s afraid, her fears literally manifest in the real world.
Theres gonna be more episodes which demonstrate Raven’s true power, can’t wait for yall to see it.
5:33
"That's terrifying"
"That's cool"
The duality of humanity, everyone
Fun fact, killer moth is the only batman villain that appears in this series.
I will never forgive this show for making me, as a kid, witness a girl kiss a spider.
I love how Starfire is angry with Kitten. I get it though.
Fun fact about Killer Moth, before he became more like the character in this episode he was originally the anti-Batman.
He was a regular criminal who trained as much as he could, equipped himself with a bunch of gadgets and was hired on retainer by criminals in Gotham to show up whenever they were confronted by Batman to distract him so they could get away.
fun fact: the reason the op was different in 'date with destiny' is because the op changes 2 fit the tone of the episode. The op will be in English for more serious episodes and the Japanese version is 4 more comedic episodes
You guys have got to watch The Batman(2004) and Justice League Unlimited! As well as the DC Animated movies!(both DCAU and DCAMU!)
I'd say Justice League and then Justice League unlimited, since unlimitated takes place after the hawk girl incident.
Yeah, 100% agree. I just said Unlimited since it's the one I watch out of the two the most🤣
My two halves:
“That’s terrifying”
“That’s cool 👍🏼”
Poor Robin having to go on a lousy date
I've always liked killer moth and the teen titans design is so clean
Wicked Scary is an ep I won't forget! Raven's powers come with some horrifying side effects!
I remember watching that ep for the first time back in Elementary school and having nightmares about it!
I love that Starfire goes absolutely feral on Kitten. Was wanting to see star and robin dance because my poor little shipper heart needed it.
well if it can placate your poor little shipper heart, technicaly starfire and robin had already kissed at this point (off-screen for now).😉
Ep6(s2) is one of my favorite episodes lol
The humor just gets to me, and the interactions between Starfire, Robin, and even Kitten is top notch😄
Date with Destiny is one of the best episodes I've enjoyed. This really shows Robin and Starfire's interactions for each other. The facial expressions always make me laugh. Starfire and Kitten's fight at the prom was awesome and freaking hilarious
🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍🤣🤣🤣
The Japanese intro is based off silly episodes
The main intro is based off serious episodes
The third intro includes a new character (who I’m not going to spoil) that is yet to be seen is based off with the episode with just him being a part of it.
Killer Moth is actually a Batman villain, originally he was just a genius with moth-like tendencies who had no powers, having to rely on his devices, but he was later made into a mutated moth-man, which is what Teen Titans used for their version
WAS THE SPIDER PIC NECESSARY?!😭 I WASN’T READY
“If your dad’s a moth, i guess a spider isn’t too far off” -dropping bars by accident out here
Control Freak created 'Teen Titans: Go!' after he got sick of the old show. This is canon story.
This Ep is a fan favourite. TT Fans go back to this ep almost every time they think about this show. kitten annoyed me show much lol
Episode 5 is my favorite, it’s probably the scariest episode in this entire series 🔥
23:56 Is that Ron stoppable lol I never knew
Yep.
It sure sounds like him.
As a kid i never caught that when he rips his suit off suddenly his gloves pop back into reality.
1. When episodes are serious and/or lore-centric, the theme song is sung in English. When the episode is goofy, the theme song is sung in Japanese. Honestly, they’re both bangers.
2. Glad to see the series holds up. “Fear Itself” still makes me shudder… 😰
5:30 Holy Crap is a ugly Monster!😱
12:02 Here's Robin!
17:00 Starfire Fighting for his men!
18:45 Dam!
23:07 Kitten Your Dumped!
I love all the creative visuals in both these episodes and all the humor in the second one. :D
man.. the residents of this world are so chill
My favorite scene is starfire slapping kitten with her bracer. It was just so hilarious.
Here’s a nice comment for you all: sorta stupid is seriously the funniest group of reactors regardless if you’re stoned or not.
Fun fact: the Japanese theme song is not a translation. The lyrics are very different:
I will obey the traffic rules
I will eat everythin without likes or dislikes
Earthwquakes, lightning storms, fires, dad,
Math, science, social studies, I'm not afraid of anything!
Teen Titans Go!
Holler my name!
Half of your troubles are gone!
Papa's schedule control
Mama's weight control
Wishes are endless
Teen Titans Go!
Next part is only in the full version:
Whenever I am lonely
We will bring love and peace
We always will!
We always will!
1 2 3 4 Go! Teen Titans!
There he is THE GOAT Killer Moth.
"This was the best prom ever!" I don't know, Ron, you dancing with Kim after stopping the Diablo bots was pretty darn good.
I love the fact robin has a trophy room for all the villans he faced something batman also like to do.
A lot of heroes and hero teams do.
One can easily tell how much fun the voice actors had while making this show.
The Japanese intro are just for comedy focused episodes and the English intro are for serious or plot focused episodes, but i remember there is a third one that only appears in one episode, i think control freak was in there
Also the lyrics on the Japanese are completely different from the English one
Everytime the intro is in japanese, it means that the episode is just going to be silly and funny with still a touch of action. But when the intro is in English, the ep will be serious.
I absolutely love this version of Killer Moth. The comics and games usually make him a fragile, weak comic relief character but i prefer him as a real threat.
lmao Date with Destiny has to be one of my favorite TT episodes ever. That shit's iconic
The song intro changes depending on if the episode is ‘filler’ or has any significant development. The English intro indicates non filler while the Japanese intro indicates filler.
I've literally always thought the opposite OMG🤯🤯🤯🤯
That first episode scared the shit out of me as a kid
Okay as much as I love a cat fight can someone please explain to me how Kitten wasn’t crushed and ripped limb from limb by StarFire? She’s a human and StarFire is a super strong alien that can lift cars!😂
17:15 i love starfire so much 😂❤ 19:24 👏👏👏💥💥😁😁
(At 21:54) They literally walk right into that one!
Season 2 episode 11 also has a slightly different intro too. 👍🏻
5:32: Ok. Is Bree just desensitized to everything? WTF!? XD
13:58: Soooo, Angel Dust. XD
OMG i love the jealous starfire episode!!! its hilarious and adorable!!!
Time for the nightmare episode: being forced to go to prom with someone you're not into...
Killer Moth for all his villainy and being voiced by Thomas Haden Church (Sandman from Raimi Spider-Man), he did at least try to be a good dad, but his daughter (Tara Strong back at it again) is probably worse than he is
Proper representation of a family well off enough but the parent simply spoils the child esp when the child him/herself isn't very mature or open minded
I just realized that when Robin rips his suit off, his green gloves magically appear on him. I can't believe I never noticed that!!!
So the intro change on episodes is based on the seriousness or the silliness of the particular episode. If the intro is in Japanese than it’s a silly ep and if it’s in English then it’s a serious ep. So it’s that significant but it’s just something thing you know…hope that helps😁
You know, control freak could probably run a pretty good comic con since he can bring these characters literally to life.
So, just so everyone knows, when I finish with this reaction I'm gonna watch it again
24:57 THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE VOICE OF RON STOPPABLE FROM KIM POSSIBLE!
Ok with this weird tentacle guy that wasnt so obvious but the rat thing? They had for red eyes. Like Raven.
When the daughter of Satan is scared, it's gonna be a wild day.😂
Killer moth is a batman villian
Fun fact: The English theme song plays for a more serious episode and the Japanese theme song plays for filler/joke epsiodes
The alternate intro has different words from the original intro. The Japanese version is introduced in English in the Teen Titans Trouble in Toyko movie.
The Japanese intro is used whenever it’s a more silly, humour-based episode. For episodes dealing with serious storytelling (like any episode involving Terra or Slade), they use the English intro
I now know the context of "Would it kill you to smile?" and I don't know how I feel about it
The Japanese theme represents the funny episodes and the regular theme for the serious episodes
While it’s mostly a joke Starfire making cat noises when she’s made actually makes sense because her species is descended from felines
I just thought of another old show you guys could check out: Static Shock.
Can’t wait for the best character in the show to be introduced #SPOILERS:
Silkie!
Fang kinda remind me of one of my favorite cartoon character except this character is a robot spider girl
So based on the intro it is either a more serious or comedy episode. Also yeah, once in and a while they changed the intro. Episode 11 has a special intro!!!
I believe English means it’s gonna be more serious and Japanese meant it was gonna be more light hearted
Wait did we just watch a SCP episode.
At 23:58 isn’t that Ron stoppable?
Yall 100% need to watch the intro for episode 11 of this season, this opening is actually really different!
It was this episode and that reveal of Starfire in her dress that made me choose her over Raven. Also I think this episode was meant to be after the one when Starfire goes through her little transformation thing, cuz she isnt supposed to have her laser eyes until after that
Usually the episodes with the Japanese intro means that the episode is more silly or a non plot heavy
Starfire is still misunderstanding what is like to be on Earth like The Junior Prom.
Anybody else have those random moments where you mentally go through each Titan member's real name? Not for any particular reason, just for the satisfaction that you know them?
Ok, who the heck is Billy? You’ve been saying the name throughout the video lol
It's a running joke on the channel I might be wrong but it started with their Adventure Time videos
Ok but why they say "everything going to be fine billy", is all just cuz of adventure time?
Yes since there's an important character in the show named Billy I don't know exactly why it became a thing on the channel that's all I know
Thats weird, i thought it was an actual person and the patreon support helps them on "billy" and some shit
If I'm not mistaken the intro's Japanese lyrics are usually during the non-serious episodes.
