I broke my TV and can't play the game but watching these high-level plays in the meantime is actually paying off more than I thought. I'm learning a lot watching these fights.
@@asiandude918 Not true, reversals have full invul until active meaning they are impossible to grab. Nago got grabbed only because he rc'd his super and ky had the read.
I think the real problem of strive is the air attack is to low or what i mean is the anti air is just to easy. all jumping target just became huge target and could easily push away. When someone on the air, the trade became to simple thus air attack doesn't show beauty. Ground attack also have disbalance for close range frame data just to crucial. midrange just need to time opponent block, kind of mind game just like long range but, more like opponent just need to block somehow his still gona die cause he gona unblock. The mental usage is not the same. and because the game is not flashy the trade is not the same. The Amount of juice use up and the amount you game not the same and it diminishing. TO PUT IS SIMPLY, GG STRIVE IS NOT A GAME WHERE ONE CAN LOOK FLASHY AND TO BE HERO IN THE DESIGN ONE WANT. THE BEST GG STIVE CAN GIVE JUST IS CINEMATIC MOVE AND THAT IS DOWN FROM HES PREVIOUS GAME.....humming " fly like a... A WHAT.!. A chopped wing"
And to add what i hate from this about stive. Low profile 2k or 2d to anti air. Same air attack doesn't hit the ground and will lose and that is Minus to air attack to.

More complicated and fine-tuned fighting games can be better but this game is overall pulling in a lot of new players. You got to give the masses time to realize how great fighting games can be. The extra revenue and just greater numbers will allow fighting games to be around long enough to develop into what I believe you want. Strive does feel a little simple. And I'm new to the fighting scene and saying that. So I kind of agree with you
