In this three-part series, Arjia Rinpoche, the throne holder of Kumbum Monastery in Amdo, Tibet, describes the life, death, and controversary surrounding the 10th Panchen Lama, Choekyi Gyaltsen. In this second video, Arjia Rinpoche discusses the Panchen Lama's efforts to protect Tibetan religious and cultural life and the circumstances surrounding his sudden death in 1989.
