Reading state board it says everything including tools, hot tools, brushes, clips etc and products need to be in a container with a lid. Have you had any issues when they came to inspect?
Hey Denise! Great question. State board has visiting my salon. You need to have every drawer in your station labeled Soiled or Clean. I keep one small container with a lid labeled Clean with a clean brush that is inside (that has not been used ever). Everything else is pretty much labeled soiled except my barbicide. I make sure to replace that daily. Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks for following along.
@SamanthaPiercy ok I seen they were labeled but not in closed containers with lids. I am only confirming cause out our salon we are going crazy trying to find closed containers for everything like the regulations say. All brushes, combs, products need to be in closed containers and labeled for Cali So Im so confused lol
@@denise7004 hey! No, not everything needs to be in a closed container with a lid. You just need one “clean” labled closed container per station. I would place one clean (not used) brush and comb and clip in there. I would recommend that each station has that. You can buy a closed container from the container store online or even Amazon might have plastics containers with lids. Then label every cabinet/drawer soiled. I would get a label maker and print out a bunch of soiled and clean labels. That way it is cohesive within your salon.
Great question! I actually got the box and organizer from The Container Store. This is the best place for finding the perfect organizing items to fit your specific space and needs.
Sorry I am just now seeing this comment. I feel so bad! The best money spent on physical marketing material is to hire a professional. They usually use CANVA to mock up everything for you and you can print it on MOO. The editing apps I use are BEATLEAP for video and SNAPSEED and ACOLORSTORY for photos. Hope this helps!
Hey! Yes, the station with the mirror is 76" tall and 32" wide. The cabinets measure 72" tall, the mirror is set to be larger and taller in front of the cabinets. My stations are also floating off of the floor. I hope this helps.
All of the stations in the salon were purchased from Salon Designers LA. My stylists and I have been really happy with their sleek off the floor look and their clutter free design. It's so nice to be able to hide all of your tools when you're not using them. Thanks for the great question!
You really have an eye for the details haha. My go to chapstick right now is Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick. Works great all day under the mask!
Nice concept
Thanks so much!
