it is not safe to go the speed limit anymore. First when you try going the speed someone will always tailgate you so the right thing to do is change lanes to the right lane and let the other driver pass you but then someone else will tailgate you in your new lane. you can't win. Just the other day i turned right onto a road that was 25 mph and i went that speed limit and some teenage punk behind who was probably going 45-50 mph i am so fed up with driving
I go the speed limit, and I've made a habit of staying in the slow lane as much as possible. People still maliciously tailgate me as if I'm camped out in the fast lane. I always keep the doors locked and the windows up. That's why I say that no vehicle is street legal without an operable A/C system. When someone tailgates me, I crank up the jam, because sometimes these assholes blair the horn or flash the lights. Even if the fast lane is clear, and they can go around me, these morons act like they don't know how to change lanes. Also sometimes, they'll tailgate me for about a mile, and then speed around me and cut in front of me, almost clipping my vehicle on the port side. Whenever I have someone behave aggressively towards me, I like to go on You Tube and watch the "Cash For Clunkers" engine destruction videos. I'd like to see the police ARREST these aggressive drivers, seize their vehicles, and destroy them the same way they did the "Cash For Clunkers" vehicles. That would send a clear message that AGGRESSIVE DRIVING IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!!!
I think that tinted windows should be made totally illegal. It makes it difficult for police to see that drivers and passengers are wearing their seatbelts, that small children are in proper child restraints, and if drivers are illegally doing stuff on their smatphones, not only texting, but going on social media, shopping on Amazon, video chatting, and taking selfies. When I think of people taking selfies while driving, I laugh my socks off! The thing that tickles me is the STUPIDITY of it! It's like one who tries to blow up a car, and burns his lips on the tailpipe!! Technically, people are stupid enough to try to read a book while driving! Bruce Ismay, the Chairman Of The White Star Line, who made the decision about Titanic's lifeboats was that stupid! He used to read "The Art Of Ship Building" while driving his 1909 Chevy Pickup, pulling a trailer with one of the Titanic's reciprocating steam engines on it.

Number one reason is because they view driving as a game, and don't fully comprehend the consequences of their actions until they crash.
