Thank you for sharing the products and install. Like others have commented, I ran into a problem when trying to use my fog lights with these LED headlights. When I depress the switch to turn the fog lights on I noticed the hi beam switch on from the lo. The only way to turn the beam off is to turn the fog lights off. Thus making the fog lights useless. Have you encountered any issues like this? So far the only solution I have found would be to re wire the fog lights independently. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!
Just picked up an 05 FXT and switched out to LED’s as well, both headlights and fogs. Question, when turning on the fogs, headlights now switch to hi’s automatically and I can’t seem to run the low beams and the fogs at the same time. Is this normal? I can’t remember if this was doing the same thing before converting the bulbs.
Not sure if you got it checked by now I don't think that's supposed to happen. I have an 05 Forester X, when I turn on my fogs my low beams don't switch to hi. Definitely get that checked out haha
Cleaning your camera lens would be a huge difference. I appreciate this tutorial because you spare the viewer from the tedious mechanics( threading and tightening blots, opening packages for example). But really the lenses should be clear already and spend more time showcasing the end result. I feel like a gre as t teacher cheated me on info.
Same here. Apparently the fog lights are wired through the high beams. This is by design to turn the fog lights off automatically when you turn the high beams on. The only solution I have found so far is to wire and power the fog lights independently.
Heeyy i was waiting for this video. I changed all my exterior t10 light bulbs to led but they always get burned after a month. Especially those in the headlights and they are really really hard to replace.. by the way my forester is the 2006 model which has different head lights..😪
This video had what I was looking for.
Thanks for providing the size codes 👍🏻
THANK YOU TH-cam ALGORITH, I'VE BEEN LOOKING HOW TO REPLACE THE TRUNK LIGHT
Great video but I am getting a constant low voltage glow from the passenger map light, any thought as to how to stop that?

The fogs are supposed to work only with the low beams
Which size are the headlight?
I’m not seeing the links to the bulbs
Why wouldn’t they match the cargo and dome lights..

Put some dielectric grease
