Hello TH-cam, I am Malcolm Merlyn. As most of you are aware, there are a lot of different scammers out there and these include Nigerian prince email scammers, Indian tech support scammers, IRS scammers and others. They have been around for over 10 years now and they don’t seem to be going anywhere. After getting a lot of calls, sometimes very early in the morning I have decided enough is enough. If the government won’t shut down these pests then I will.
This video is for educational purpose only, we dont encourage anyone to do this. This isn't a tutorial nor does it teach such things!
I created some virtual machines and started calling scammers using a fake caller ID. The calls were quite hilarious so I started uploading them on TH-cam; this was great as I was raising awareness about scams while also earning money. In total I have called scammers over ten thousand times in the past year and a half. I created a number of programs to annoy them including a call flooder that can call the scammers many times per minute which overloads their phones.

Right way to deal with scammers...... The government should actually pay these hackers.

May I suggest ditching your landline and just using your mobile? That fucks them up a bit, lol!
Also DL a number filtering/blocker app (I use Do Not Call) so only people you know can contact you....and you will have zero issues ever again!
Unlisting your number might also work....but I think you have to pay for that.

Maureen Riordan as for the US, you can’t stop hundreds of thousands of people from scamming that are located in a foreign country. it’s simply impossible. and i’m rather certain there are far more important things to deal with. besides, if you don’t fall for the scams then you don’t have to worry about them
YT just recommended this vid to me. My first thought was, "3 years later and the scammer problem has only gotten worse."
Actually the tech support problem has been halted mostly by us. Popups are way harder to find now then a couple years ago. They seem to be moving to other scripts like refund and phishing. It's cat and mouse, only a matter of time before we stop this too =)

I feel very bad and ashamed being an indian hearing about these scams almost everyday. My country's name is all tarnished by these dirty scams that've been ongoing since many years now and affecting many countries worldwide like cancer.

i just love watching you stick it to the scammers...i was actually excited when on one of my phones..they tried the irs scam ...I enjoyed the almost 40 minutes of frustration I caused...it and watching you and other hackers scam the scammers has inspired me to learn how to do the same thing...and the videos help keep me updated on the different scams they use...thank you Malcolm Merlyn
