I saw my first native american man wearing his traditional garments, in my home town in Germany near Frankfurt am Main. I was maybe 6 years old and was hypnotized !!! I had never seen such expressive and (for me) exotic man before, I would have liked to ask him something, but I couldn't speak English at the time. I am now 60 years old and still remember this event.

I met him years ago when he came to an American base in Japan for Native American month. I remember him for this great sense of humor, I also remember him eating absolutely anything. Wonder if he remembers me, too? I think I'll go see if I can dig up those photos and post them on my Facebook :-)
