I follow the reds for a few seasons before I moved to England in the 1980s. The thought of even talking to a Linfield fan never mind walking alongside them, would have been totally unthinkable then.
One month on from that day, I still get emotional about how we finally won the Irish Cup. Credit to Linfield and their fans for making this an incredible Cup Final and atmosphere. This is why we love the Irish League.
Proud of both teams and both sets of supporters. Amazing day. Great video and great commentary. Absolutely amazing day yesterday. Still buzzing but exhausted.
Fantastic vid man, the atmosphere was rocking and Windsor park looks great too. Real old school vibes about the stadium. Lot of character which is getting rarer and rarer these days.
It was the best football match this country has seen in years mate honestly this will take alot to top it. The passion of the fans and the hatred, in a good way, made the occasion.
Unbelievable footage mate. I was on the top tier of the North Stand. As you can imagine the atmosphere there was off the richter scale. Never been at a game like it. Cliftonville we're outstanding. ❤
Agree pyro helps create a great atmosphere but unfortunately it’s illegal and as a Blues supported the fines and spectator restrictions caused us big time this season. Be interesting to see what the IFA do of the back of what happened at the final especially the amount of times the game was stopped. Great final and a superb atmosphere throughout with the reds fully deserving the victory - gutted the Blues didn’t kick on after a great start and the early goal you predicted.
That looked fantastic. I did briefly have a look at seeing if I could get over and watch this final, but it was said to be sold out - so it's a bit disappointing to see those empty corners and the end section of the far stand netted off with hundreds seats needlessly empty. It would probably have been to expensive to go, but I'd have loved to been in that crowd - the red part of it anyway.
Was great to see linfield fans walking along with cliftonville fans on boucher road , i call that progress. Great game and result for us.

Spot on, a great final to watch. I’m a Blueman but I’m going to take my hat off to the Reds, the better team on the day and fully deserved it.

There will be more fines and sanctions on top of the pyro 😬

Looks like the good team won. Shocking, playing the national anthem of England at an Irish cup final. Very confused people.
It's in Northern Ireland and God save the king is northern Ireland national anthem aswell

Who rules the waves now? The waves that separates NI from GB 😂😂😂
Loll Linfield fans singing Britania rules the waves, Britania doesn't even rule London or Bradford anymore
Where did all the Cliftonville fans come from. Normally they cannot sell all the tickets for the home end at Solitude.
Wee invaded
@@davygraham Just turn up for the Cup Final
Windsor Park virtually empty every home game
Average attendance 1918. Fifth below Larne
Linfield 3324
They only need 2 teams in belfast like celtic and rangers. Better for the league as a whole
"God save the queen", or whatever he is
FFS can't you sing a song about "God save England" or something?
