Hi Will. Nice video. Looks a great place to ride. I’ve sent you a follow request on Strava so maybe I can copy the route or build something similar once I find the ride. Where was it you were based? I think it was Kotor? I’m not sure exactly what would be best logistically in terms of where to set up and if it’s best to hire a car initially to transfer from and back to the airport so if you have any advice on that it’d be appreciated?

What was that creaky noise BB or pedals, it was so distruptive.... great vid though

Great vid...thanks! I'm headed for some vacation/biking around in that area in a couple of weeks. The roads looked decent in some spots but really crumbly in others - would you recommend bringing a gravel bike over a road bike?

Thanks, the roads are really smooth where I rode, even on the some of the smaller roads, you'll be fine with 25/28mm tyres. Gravel bike will be overkill unless you want to head off road. Have a nice trip!

I cycled a lot in Montenegro earlier this year. The main roads are very good, some epic climbs and sweeping descents. The road around the Bay Of Kotor is absolutely stunning, the climb to Niksic from the bay is long but stunning. It's a gentle descent from Niksic past Danilovgrad to the capital Podgorica and you can clock out some good speeds (I reached 47mph) as the road is relatively straight and smooth. I know there's a lot of off roading as well but as I went for road biking as my partner is from there that's all I done. I would bring the gravel bike then you can do both road and gravel.
