It's dope that he didn't come to battle with this round. He made a track, and even shouted out DEN by showing his remix of his routine. He definitely has respect for DEN, and so does DEN to Hiss. It's such a nice gesture, while this is what this community is all about. I didn’t expect to be enjoying Hiss’ round more, the melody is really fun to listen to However both contestants have been doing brilliantly troughout the whole BBU stages, Best of luck to both of them!
FR...The winners here, as with any battle, but seriously here, are us. Hiss, imo, has a format in which he can truly show his mastery of his craft, and Den has been able to make a name for himself in the wider beatboxing world in the most bombastic, catchy, and wonderful way possible. My own personal bias lies with Den, but then again, Hiss took round 1 for me. Both are absolutely incredible, and I think we are seeing a clash of two of the most passionate beatboxers I have ever seen. *And I love it.*
100% agree. Hiss round one for sure. Den was too similar to old rounds and didn’t really bring anything new. Gonna have to have a crazy second round to pull back
What a nice first round for the final after this whole competition, so wholesome and also just insanely well done with the video, audio, those double trumpets, just pure insanity and can't wait for the next rounds!
Whole thing was out of this world emotionally, 1:58 fart bass pitching melody made me wana cry!! His bass and high note harmonies are from heaven!! Been a fan for so long and Hiss just keeps taking his feelings to the next level every year. Big love for this one.
This is gonna be the hardest round to judge so far, both showed off what they are the best at and I don't think anyone is getting the battle point, so either it comes done to extra points if any are given or user voting
I give complexity slightly to hiss just bc of how fast his combos are while also still sounding clean and the sheer amount of them, he really went all out
Always remember guys, Den & Hiss tracks gets better with time. Still remember how I didn't like Den's round vs King Inertia at first, now it's one of my all time fav Beatbox tracks. Same with Rainbow from Hiss, that's maybe top in the list for me. Thankyou Chezame, Sxin for doing this, you know you'll always have guys supporting you. I listen to all their tracks on repeat every day now lol. I gotta say all of them took some time for me to get addicted to, at first I didn’t like it that much. Might be the same now with Den’s round, but Hiss got me hooked already so I think I’m giving my vote to Hiss for this first round, I been a Den simp this whole comp tho lmfao

I just noticed something while watching pro beatboxers reacting to this battle is that, while they are leaning towards den (except madtwinz), their reaction to hiss' trumpet combo is the most satisfying one lol.

Absolutely insane, the techniques with the trumpet the arrangement and really catchy melody. I love how hiss made this routine special for his supporters (no pun intended). It really makes us (the supporters) feel noticed and really happy for him too and we too are really grateful and thankful for all the work Hiss have done for us. What a battle of the musicians. Hiss, your singing is spot freaking on. And the more-than-an-octave jumps are really good. Never mind the trumpet, which (speaking as someone who can play actual trumpet) does a really good job emulating the real thing.
Since 2021, Hiss has become one of my favorite of all time .. he's insane on a lot of aspects, musicality, technicity, vibe & that graphic presentation of each video, this is a very nice touch, colorful and polished, very pleasant to watch.
I really dont care who wins like fr, now onto the next round i need more of this.. i wonder all the participants are very talented why they don't post videos like this often, i think maybe time and money is one of the issues but dang if they actually do this kind of stuff at least monthly we'd be having eargasm throughout the year

How to say, the first round feels very magical. Den found a bunch of big bosses and like gods to look down on, mocking hiss past honors will be turned into history, very aggressive. But a lyric of hiss: "And I am grateful that I am in this with you." - I am also grateful to meet you here, which undoubtedly improves the idea of the whole work. Along the way, be grateful, maybe this is the best counter.
