- I've been wanting to play in Guild Wars for quite some time to at least try it out and over the past few weeks I was invited to guest spot in Forsaken. Overall I really enjoyed what I was able to play and wanted to make a video about the experience to help clear up some info for the community.

Just to correct some misinformations :
At 2:30.
In non-elite bracket, we can't buy the 4th attack team with guild points,
which means we only have 3 teams of 4 units to attack at most (if we don't reduce unit number to have more teams).
At 3:30.
You said that buffers give their buff to their mates under them, which is incorrect.
They grant a generic 5% stats bonus to their section (we personally call it village) until they fall.
Only buffers have special bonuses to deal with (one of six differents).
Others can be attacked despite their buffers if you prefere to manage a 5% stats bonus instead of falling their buffer first.
The rest was enough accurate according to me.

I don't know much on the normal Guild Wars brackets so I appreciate the info.
The buffers make more sense too, everyone getting that buff would be really strong.
And yes i agree with the part where Guild Wars really changes the way you see certain characters. Catastrophe, Ragnarok units were insanely tough teams a while ago and that was never something you would experience in regular PVP. Which is also made me felt that, certain heroes were indeed designed for Guild War esp those that have passives which increase stats of allies based on number of applicable allies on the field.
That seems to be a bit of the norm now. But definitely didn't think about guild wars when they were releasing.

Guild wars is the best content in game. Once you get to play it, you look at a unit with a totally different perspective. Sometimes, you will rather summon for a normal banner unit than a festival just because the normal unit is better suited for guild war. And that extra thought process that goes into making those defence and offense teams makes the game interesting. And contrary to what most people think, most part of guild war really isn't "WHALE" territory. Ofcouse you will be weaker than whales but that's not much of a disadvantage. You just need to put some effort in building those Guild war units and most people who haven't experienced GW will probably think that those units are useless for PVP so building them is useless unless you whale. But once you play it, you will never look back. Good to see some GW content tho!!
Definitely liking it so far. Very cool to see a new side of the game after all this time.

the thing about guild war is, especially when you in champ 1 to challenger league you will almost 100% going second against every team ( except if against weaker bases ) . That's why the hero arena teams looks like joke compared to Guild war even if those are the same team ( catas especially, the 3x AOE turn 1 is a pain in the ass lol ) . in GW a good hero position and team order can really make attacking enemy spend multiple su1ci1de teams or high CC team in one base thus making it almost impossible to 9k enemy except if they afk or did not buff at all lol.
Definitely a lot more strategy going into it.
YAY Guild war Content!! Some clarifications: The buffer effect is only for the buffer. But the buffer's existence gives all the bases inside extra 5% basic stats.

netmarble should make guild wars acessible for everybody, most games you get to play in guild wars from the beginning, I get that box CC makes a lot of difference but its kinda weird being so far away from this content after playing the game for almost a year

Honestly is not that hard to get into guild wars, but is hard to get 30 members to do a decent score, then manage their teams, I'm usually on silver/gold (not elite), and it's a bit hard with 10M, I hope to see more gw content content from your point of view ❤
Yeah the coordination from 30 people is definitely the toughest aspect of the whole thing.

Sadly the current gws just doesnt work very well for very casual players but maybe one day they'll make a new version thats ungeared.

@@Nalyd kinda obvious that Apo's currently top 1 while top 2 would be fought between Kaiju and 7K, the former being on a losing streak against Kaiju it would make sense to have Kaiju as second best over 7K...

I'd be happy with more than that but I think the top 1% would still be an improvement to what we have now.
Im changing my answer for what they need to do for Guild Wars 2.. Ungeared Guild Wars for the rest of the player base so the more casual players have something fun to do.

I wasn't really waiting. I was trying to get in with my own guild but couldn't. Then I was offered a chance to join a guild that was participating to try it out.

Thats not very well designed? why make it only for top players?? epic 7, summoners wars etc have guild wars for all..
An ungeared version would definitely be a great option for everyone else. Hopefully we get it one day!
I think they call it a beta game mode, with the intention of letting more people in later. But it's obviously not gone as planned.
