Is it true that the anterior tibia (upper shaft ) is the compression side of the tibia when one is standing facing uphill and that the anterior tibia is the tension side of the tibia when one is standing facing downhill ? (If so then weight bearing while facing uphill may be helpful in achieving union of a stress fracture located on the anterior side of the upper tibia (just below the head )....
