- The Ending to Sifu was some HOT mid, I'm not even gonna lie to you. HOWEVER the final boss was fire! I hope the Sifu Secret Ending helps adds context to everything though

i like how every boss has been labeled "The Strongest" except for Miss CEO who got her ass kicked easily
Also the Botanist
Honestly Miss Ceo should have been a combination of Sean and the artist long range attacks that can break your structure easily if you block all the time and made her openings far less and the botanist 1st boss obviously he gets a pass
No all y'all are forgetting that she old and what comes with being old in this game? That's why she gets whooped fast and her guard can broken faster
so true, i was struggeling so haed with the 3 one and then did the 4th in one go, she easaly is one of the weakest things in the game, most minibosses are harder but given they all have two arms
@@Might_G yeah that is true but that's why her offense should have been insane and her openings few cause she can't tank damage like all the others can so getting her should be harder
For some lore for you about this games. Yang (the antagonist of the game) have lost his wife and child and so he tries to stole the pendent in order to revive them, but the sifu found out about it and banished Yang from the school because it is forbidden to be used for reasons unknown. That is what the two gravestones are there for in the cutscene after you killed Yang. Enraged for not being able to save his family because of the sifu, he plotted a revenge to kill him and the students of the school and steal the pendent for himself and his four subordinates. You, as the main character, the youngest son/daughter of the sifu, seek revenge on Yang and his 4 subordinates for killing your father. However, after you got your revenge, you got to see the backstory of why Yang wanted the pendent in the first place and feel guilty for it. So now, you are put back into the beginning to fight the 4 bosses and Yang but with an option of sparing them after you break their structure twice on their 2nd phase fight. Doing this will redeem yourself in a way by earning what is called "Wude" in the game, as well as giving you the true (and more satisfyingly) ending and the credits.
*psst psst* There is a secret cutscene after the credits roll so don't skip it.
'wude' basically means martial artist's morality, basically an unwritten code of honor
You can skip the last credit you'll still get the scene

@@EastLaneDonte I'm at the final level at age 20 rn, and it is pretty hard, thinkin i should just allow myself to die once and then grab that hidden achievment, then bounce.
So, *some quick clarification*, the ending where you kill yang is considered the bad ending.
To get the good ending, you'll have to spare all the bosses in their second phase.
To do that, you wanna beat their first phase like normal (of course), then when you get to the second phase, you wanna break their structure *twice* without them running out of health.
Once you break it the second time, there'll be an option on the gamepad for you to spare them.
Something really important to not for sparing though is parrying, you'll wanna parry quite a bit since that affects boss structure.
Right, and the bad ending teased it by the narration... "You want to defeat your enemy by not wanting them to fight anymore"

Blunt weapons also deal more structure damage, which is what I did against the first guy since he doesn’t have many attacks that are easy to parry (imo)
So for the lore: Yang was your dad's best student, which is why he taught you as well. Yang's wife and child were dying, and Yang wanted to steal the talisman (I believe) to keep them alive. Sifu kicked Yang out of the school after whooping his ass. That original fight you saw was Yang and other people that wanted your dad's group to use their powers to help the world. They killed them all, then tried to use the powers for good. It seems some of that got corrupted as they started dealing drugs n shit.
when you saw the 2 graves it was yours and Sifu's. you basically used the pendant to exact revenge after it brought you back to life from your throat being cut. Sifu kept it probably for that reason, among others. that warrants the bad ending for sure. Yang wanted to use it to heal everybody at the sanctuary, also his friends. Fujar had an ailment that made him a mute, Sean had a disfigured burnt face, Kuroki had serious mental problems (schizophrenia most likely) and Jinfeng was old and had 1 arm (also i think she was greedy). i guess Yang just wanted to help people and the game corrupts you into getting caught up in the tale of vengeance when Sifu was the real bad guy.
@@SilentHillsDarkest i dont think sifu was a bad guy per say. Just different ideas from different people. The people that killed him also had originally good intentions. Obviously the power got to them because ya know. Power corrupts. So in the end sifu wanting to keep the items away was probably the right thing
@@ReneRodriguez-qd8pj but the problem with that theory is the "power" was not with them, you had it. thats why they were all moving on with their lives. Fujar went to drugs, Sean went to sacrificing people by burning them + running a fight club, Kuroki obsessed over her art, Jinfeng was doing her CEO thing and Yang was chillin at the Sanctuary. you still go on a killing spree. Kuroki didnt even want to fight you.
also remember Sifu exiled Yang, perhaps it was due to Yang's "discovery" that the artifact existed and what power it held. Yang never betrayed Sifu, it was the other way around. in the prologue Yang was doing the right thing but the game presented it like a mugging/slaughter to feed your appetite for vengeance.
another reason Yang constantly mocks you and your use of it during the final battle. he knows you are blinded by rage and you are the one "corrupted" by this power. he actually mastered what Sifu taught him and you are using this piece of jewelry to cheat death and master Kung Fu with "no way to die"
The voice at the end describing what Wude is, is basically telling you how to achieve it. Breaking your opponent’s will by not fighting back, but also letting them know the fight is over by parrying.

I highly recommend trying to spare every boss:
Which translates to taking them down via posture once (but don't finish them)wait for them to recover and then do it another time and press left on the D-Pad.
Keep in mind that you automatically kill them if you best them via their vitality. You have to block and parry more often and get the according shrine rewards (middle rewards, the one on the right). If you solely rely on dodging... You're gonna kill them via vitality.
It's also good to know that you can do this in any order. Though I recommend doing Yang last to get the "true ending" after sparing all of them once.
Also keep in mind this is all after you’ve entered the second phase. You do a takedown once

The two gravestones in the end are probably Yang’s wife and kid. Sifu didn’t want to use the talismans to save them. This spurred Yang to take the power of the talismans, form The Guardians(the bosses we defeat), and use their powers to help other people. That’s why they all have special powers. That’s my take
Basically right except the "Guardians" are an order of the Sifu and other masters. Basically old ass traditional dudes that kept the talismans away from the world. Yang and his group worked to destroy the Guardians so like you said they could use the talismans to help others instead of keeping them locked away. That ninja lady explains it in the CEO level
@@IRantonI Yes that's basically what the game tells you on the board. With the CEO being one of these guardians who made the whole betrayal the game starts with. With Sifu being one of these 8 masters killed.

You have to complete the game again for the true ending and I just wanted to give the best combo. Duck strike + croth punch + palm push + chasing trip kick is the fastest combo for damage output.

That last mission is probably one of the best story telling missions I've ever done....let me explain. This game is all about showing the audience rather than telling. The game is very subtle about it's story and it leaves the audience to kinda piece together the more indirect lore aspect. That being said the last mission was the most direct story telling in the game. The game is outright telling u that what u chose was not right and there is more to it then that. The main character feels empty and regretful and the ending makes the player feel the same way. Ultimately urging and encouraging you to take the more difficult path and chose to spare the bosses. Absolutely phenomenal ending

I like how the Final boss above all else is a massive Skill Check. You Can't use Focus while he reminds you that you need to be patient, with your attacks and remember to follow the words of Piccolo and that is to *DODGE*
Honestly way easier to parry him.
Afro wasn't lying tho, i was fucking SWEATIN fighting this guy, and not because he's particularly harder, but he's relentless, and if your approach is very parry heavy, shit will have your fingers aching too.

Took me a second to understand the story but it makes sense when you complete the detective board and read it. Basically Yang wanted to take the pendant to save his dying wife and daughter, but sifu wouldn’t allow it, so when Yangs family died, he killed sifu in revenge. But definitely spare everyone again for the “secret ending” it’s much better.
