I've followed David since the beginning. I dig this new song. So authentic, so genuine. The video is killer and I don't think you've ever looked better or more relaxed. A great look for you. I am gay but went through all the years of b.s., guilt, faith guilt, worrying what others thought. Wow it was exhausting. Finally I just accepted that it is what it is and praying and lighting candles at church was not going to change me. There is happiness once you simply accept yourself. Forget the therapy. Life should be about kindness and truth and integrity and friends and goals. Who you sleep with seems pretty far down the list. Who cares what the church thinks. They are hypocrits. My biggest regret is that I can't get back the many years that I supressed my true self and lived to please others. I was traveling in Cali and saw you at San Diego pride. I cried from happiness for you David.

I noticed recently and particularly with this video that you are one of those few people who really does look good in bright colors. Too many people wear them for fun which is okay but, in your case, it makes you a lot more handsome/beautiful/hot. Not in a drag or over the top fashion but full of life, hope, brightness. When you were a member of a very conservative religious group, I get why you were so beige or dark, but it seems like the flower has finally bloomed and it is wonderful. Go forward in life and be happy.
