Dr. Kreeft is awesome. This guys so on point. Truly a blessing in our time. My favorite living Philosopher by far, no one comes close in our day and age.
That is a wonderful thing to hear a Muslim say. May God continue to bless you and your family in this earthly Pilgramage where what we choose to do each day is either a choice to love and serve God with all our might to be with him eternally in the next life or to choose each day to serve the enemy and condems ourselves to hell. Please pray that I may only serve God and never offend him as I shall pray for you.
Dr Kreeft is one of the few Theologians who is truly teaching about the One true church Jesus founded. God bless him. Most Theologians sadly do not. Even our Priests are not teaching their flocks thereby leading them to hell with them. May God convert all the people in the world to know and serve the one Church he founded so that all may enjoy spending our next lives eternally with him.
Back in 1976 I found the following ditty among various 'slogans' in the mens' room of my alma matter. It is, I maintain, a good summary of philosophy as taught in modern universities including my own dear alma mater: To be is to do - Aristotle To do is to be - Descartes To be to be to be doo - Frank Sinatra To dee Boo Boo - Yogi Bear. Bee tea double u. This is a very good talk.
When he speaks of how the mystic conquers the fear of death but still must die, he missed the point. The mystic by seeing the unreality of the self does not die. From that perspective there is no longer any separate self to die.
Jesus is the greatest living man! Invited or not, He is present. If all particles in the universe are one big family, then If we live and move and have our being in Him, could God be one big super giant mega particle that we all exist in?
I never attempted to describe the supernatural to you. If you want to know what your talking about you need to understand theology, since that is the science of the supernatural.

This man's wisdom is ever-flowing. It's a fountain of peace and understanding for me.
"It's amazing how many words are spoken about prayer, and how few are spoken in prayer."
So very, very true.
Thank you for posting this talk.
Dr Kreeft is one of the few true Theologians who is teaching the true teachings of Christ.
A Prophet for our time. Listen, learn, grow.

Suffering without a purpose or meaning is more painful than death
That introduction was priceless lol

+Truth Seeker no idea what you're on about
Luis Fernández del Castillo Kasten
I just think Kreeft is a snake-oil salesman.
+Truth Seeker That's why your still a truth seeker. You'll only believe the truth if it fits your own personal worldview. With respect.

What's wrong with my personal worldview?
20:54 isn't it those who actually are well not those who think they're well?
What does the bloke say at the end that causes such relishable burst of laughter?
I can't seem to catch his words.
Maybe the part about going from the diving board to the swimming pool(speaking to taking questions)?
He says 'and on that happy note'. Its Worth another listen, very funny wrap up.

You can't describe the supernatural on natural terms.
We are a soul/body composite, meaning we are supernatural. A soul living in the state of grace has supernatural life within them.
Read some theology if you want to understand the "supernatural."
I never attempted to describe the supernatural to you. If you want to know what your talking about you need to understand theology, since that is the science of the supernatural.
We are soul body composites and our soul is supernatural, and since our souls are part of us then we are supernatural as well as natural.
What's with the laughing audience!! ITS NOT FUNNY!!!
