Back in the 1980s a buddy of mine used to fill a 14X50 stave silo with high moisture ground ear corn every year. I picked it for him. Those high moisture ears weren't always crazy about going through the New Idea 319 picker, but I put a lot of them through it.
I figure it's good for me to watch corn getting stripped off the stalks before bed. It's one of those relaxing videos. Probably not so much for the guy running the combine though. 🌽👍🙂
I am chopping the stalks wet and piling them to feed to the cows as filler. I have more corn that I will harvest for dry corn to sell. Everything will get winter rye cover crop planted

It make great feed. This pile is a mix of ground ear corn and shell corn

They are a nice size machine. Only thing I wish mine was a hydro and had a hydraulic unload auger!
