  • having these two giant ring gears custom printed would have cost half the price of the printer on pre-order. Since a tool user has to have tools to use, we decided to acquire the tool instead of paying someone else to have all the fun. So here it is printing the thing it was purchased to print.

I’ve seen a lot of videos of it being much much faster than this. But I can update more later once I get mine.

How do you like it? I just put an order in and I'm seeing some scary reviews on Amazon, wondering if I need to cancel the order.

You really should shoot cinema style. Vertical videos suck on normal screens.

I'm almost pulling the trigger on this printer. So you recommend it? I will be using it to make automotive parts like mirror housings, bumpers, grills, etc.

So far I've found that it does a serviceable job on all kinds of prints including printing place flexible pieces. One of the goals for this project is to be able to print models that we can then cast base metal or aluminum parts in for classic cars because we have several in our own collection. Right now I would recommend.

Remember, it is only 500x500. Won't print a whole bumper or grill.

Also remember it is only an 80 degree bed, so until someone comes up with a work around it won't be printing exotics or engineering filament. I am sure with a big enough installed user base, somebody will come up with a way to increase the bed temperature, but that is not where it is right now

@@YeOldeToolUsers-fi5wk Oh totally aware, right now I'm running several Longer LK5 Pro's which are only 300x300x400 and they give really nice prints but they are SLOOOOOOOW. So hoping to bump the speed up a little bit and get more volume. Please keep us updated.

Yeah I'm looking into this printer for the exact same purpose. 500mm is roughly 19.5" and that would be big enough for most things I need to make to only require 2 part molds vs 3-4 piece mold with smaller printers. That said it is still almost double the price of two Elegoo Neptune 4 that is 420x420x500 and the neptune prints a lot faster !!
