Anyone can be an Art Collector there is no real secret. There are any number of things that help you as a collector as you define more specifically what it is you want to collect and why Etc... I have bin collecting Art for over 25+ years and have an estimated 275 - 300 works of art. To start the best advice is to collect what you love and only pay as much as what you think it is worth to you not what others say you should or that it's worth it to pay more, to that degree you go beyond that the art becomes less art and is now a commodity witch is what the elitist art world is primarily about.
