I usually dislike SUV's, wagons even hatchbacks etc.. but if I ever hit the lottery, I'm getting one of these as a daily driver. That looks incredible.
My dad owns one of these. He's owned his fair share of amazing supercars and also strong SUVs, and this is just a brute of a vehicle to be in. The sound is amazing too. It just screams at you after ~4k rpm. Ik many prefer other SUVs, but having driven a lot of them, my dad and me never loved one more tha the 707. Glad to see someone else driving it.

You're right, I don't quite understand the digital speedometers either. Sure, some of them look really good, but I think that a normal speedometer should continue to be offered, especially for people who simply don't like digital speedometers (no matter how good it looks). I personally think it's much nicer, much more attractive than just seeing a display, especially in a car like this. Nice ride as always! 🙂
This car has a gorgeous interior, But i can get over how the exterior resembles a 2020 ford escape. I literally walked past one of these parked at the mall and didn't realize until my friend was like "Isnt that the aston martin truck?"

This thing looks awesome, but I'd be very hard pressed to spend almost 300k on an Aston Martin, that interior does not look like it's from a 300k SUV either, it looks like something out of a 10 year old Mercedes, cheap and dated compared to a Cayenne Turbo GT or a Lamborghini Urus. You're also right about these digital gauges, I think some of them look good, but very few, the one in this car looks awful.
@@G82Watts The Cayenne Turbo GT is hands down the best performance SUV, it's design is also very conservative and subtle, it's not vulgar or in your face like the DBX or the Urus, the Turbo GT is also silly fast, faster than this, it's rated at 650HP but the dyno has shown that it's really making 675-690HP and over 700lbft of torque, those numbers are believable cause it does 0-60 in under 3 seconds.
You know this watch sponsorship makes sense. Back in the early ND POV days where I discovered you on the Winding Road, I could tell it was you driving mainly if the wristwatch looked nice. Michigan was a less-reliable indicator.
PS is Pferdestärke, German for horsepower, so not British horsepower, it’s a metric measurement. 1 PS is 0.98632 hp, so 707PS in the UK would also be 697hp
I see no reason why this shouldn't be half of this price. 700hp in a daily driving SUV is pointless anyways. You would never feel the difference if it was 500hp
@@DJHeroMasta It's the same engine as the standard 540hp model man. This 700hp comes at 6000rpm. How often will you reach those revs outside of a track? The torque difference is noteworthy. But car and driver even said that you will never really be able to make use of this kind of power on the road... That being said, this 707 is still the better value I guess. But that's only because the standard DBX is still about $50K more than it should be IMO. If you're going to spend over $200K on an insanely fast SUV, you might as well get this model

Any time I let it rip, I already had to start braking lol. Shit even my daily driving BMW 440i feels like I can only use a fraction of its power most of the time. And that's only 300hp

I expected more contrast in the interior. So dark and cold. I'm sure lighter colored materials could be added, after all, it's an Aston. But this press mules falls short on the inside
i wonder why on a car this pricey that they didnt put a HUD in? i find that to be an important safety feature that should be std on all cars...other than that its a crazy fast and fun car...now they should make a v12 version...go really crazy
I would say this is more special than the Urus. I was in the configurator, and went to town with the interior. So much better than anything Porsche or Mercedes have to offer, haven't tried BMW.

So many questions. The paddle shifters look out of place, and the infotainment controls are abysmal. I can't imagine ever spending $270k on a vehicle, but there are just too many other options that do things better. This makes an RSQ8 seem like a common sense buy.
This isn’t worth 200k+ full stop. Hand built, but requires expensive maintenance? As opposed to a mass produced Toyota/Honda that will last forever? No thanks.

Cayenne turbo gt is easily the best SUV u can buy . Fastest, best interior. Urus is best looking but its alot slower then turbo GT and handles worse.

Kinda wish it had the Mercedes column shifter (PRND) instead of dash buttons. Also, those tail lights make the vehicle look sad/weak. Needs DBS lights
