I’m so glad to see more videos like this for short to medium lower density hair! A lot of the tutorials I’ve found have these huge curling rods and large scrunchies. The way she’s doing it makes smaller and more uniform sections without having to use socks or leggings or rods. I am very excited to try this!
I appreciate the way you twisted your hair. I've been doing it at an angle and the back gets super kinky and the front not so much. I'm going to try your method tonight. Thanks for sharing!
@@ZithaNim I did it last night. I liked the way the back laid flat and not kinky. I will keep working on the technique. I have layered hair so it's not as perfect wavy as urs. I love getting ready for work in 30 min or less!
@@Aimee1973 Literally makes me so happy! Yeah definitely just play around with it! As I said I've been doing this for 6 years so I've definitely changed the way I do it a few times so it's really all about figuring out what works for your hair 🙌🏼Yes exactly - love how quick it is in the morning! 😍
This is the video I've been looking for! I think I can do this, and your multi-angle view was so helpful. I can never find videos like this for my hair length (they're all quite long) but ours are a similar length so I'm going to try this tonight. Also, it looks really comfy to sleep in compared to other ways I've tried. Thanks!!
Yaaas girl I believe in you! I'm glad you found it helpful! And it definitely is comfy to sleep with, you do need to find the right position but after so long I don't ever feel them anymore 🙌🏼
Thank you, Zitha, for this video. I have already tried various ways to achieve wavy hair - bathrobe belt waves, French braids, tiny buns etc. but everytime I was rather disappointed with the results or the process itself - no waves, too big waves, waves did not last, terribly uncomfortable to sleep in... This is the first method that really works on my straight fine hair with lower thickness. Yesterday I braided my hair according to your instructions, I started it with my hair completely dry and Wave Me Wonder by Schwarzkopf. I went to bed and it did not bother me at all. In the morning I secured the pretty waves with some hair spray. And I have enjoyed the beach feeling for the whole day. I am really very grateful that you shared this idea 🥰
Thank you so much - I hope you like them on you too! 😍 I'm currently working on an updated version where I show how you can make different styles and make them last longer so look out for that! 🎉
Oh my goodness your quality is so good!!! Thank you so much for this hairstyle I’m going to try it tonight! Appreciate you and your thoroughness! You’re very sweet. 💕

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I was looking for an easy tutorial to get my hair wavy/curled overnight but I could only find those that are braided. I'm not very good at doing braids on myself so I was about to give up when I found your video!! I ran to the mirror and started doing it and was done within 15 minutes! AMAZING! Only thing I'd change is when you get to the end (past your ear) you twist towards the different direction so that the twist doesn't get ruined💗
you are sooo beautiful, girl!! love the heatless wave tip! i love avoiding heat for my hair. i basically only wash and air dry it but now i wanna switch it up and give myself some waves from time to time. will try this! xx
Yaas me too! Only really use heat on my fringe (as it's the first thing you see so kinda want it to look good 😅) But this is such a great way to switch things up 🙌🏼🎉 I hope it works out perfect ☺️

I am so obsessed with your haircolor, I've always wanted mine to look like that! Also, I don't have a styling foam at the moment, do you know what I could use instead?
Aww thank you! I believe you can just ask for a cobber dye at the hairdresser with a lot of highlights (I don't have the highlights but I think it would look awesome!) 😍 Hmm if you have any kind of wax or a mousse it would do but you can also just use hairspray - all hair is different and this is just what mine needs to keep the hold 😁
I'm trying loads of different ways of curling my hair cause it just won't curl. I will be trying this next!! That's for the help, also you're very underrated, great channel, seriously 😁

Girl I LOVE your hair it's so shot but its really nice i think I'm going to cut it like that, mines a bit longer but I used to have it like that ❤️❤️❤️
So ingenious I’ve got my hair all twisted and am ready for the pillow but one question is your hair dry or damp when you start this technique? Thank you!❤
I love this so much! 💕 Gonna try this tonight, I just hope that my hair isn't too short. It does seem like it will work better than this one that I tried where it was similar. Btw you are gorgeous 😍
@@Emily-uq5sw Very slightly damp hair yes but I feel like mine looks the best when it's completely dry because the hair will simply not dry, no matter how long you wait 🙅🏽♀️😁
Ohh I don't know! You can probably ask at a hairdresser 🤔 I have natural red hair but I do tone is sometimes with Revlon Nutri Color (the 740) in the winter when it gets a bit dull - don't know how it would look when your hair is not already red tho 🤷🏽♀️😅
You could just leave it and see if it holds still - my hair is just has such an attitude that it will literally just fall down half an hour later, if I don't put in any product 😅
Yes you could totally do 3 or even 4 sections if that works better for you! Also brushing it through every time you add some new hair can help it be more manageable 😁
Well that could be challenging.. But you can also get like hair clips or put hair elastics in and then put them up with a hairband 🤔🤷🏽♀️But you can really just get bobby pins everywhere so I would just get some for like $2 at the local store - I think it'll make it way easier for you 😁🙈
I just uploaded an updated version where I talk about how to do it with wet hair and also how it looks compared to not having water in it if you want some more tips on it! 🥰
Maybe try to make 4 sections instead of 2 🤔 Mine is very soft so it does that too but for me it helps to put in a bit of water - just uploaded an updated video all about how I make this hairstyle now (and how to make it hold better) if you want some more tips on how to make it! 🌺
(Sorry to ask, but does this work with only 1 braid? My mom did it in 1 and I am still hoping it works) thanks! Btw I had to sub, your hair is beautiful! It looks exactly like my sisters. ❤️
Ofc you can ask! Tbh I've actually never tried it with 1 - I just find it easier to divide it into 2, but I guess it'll work just fine with 1 🤷🏽♀️ But please lmk how it went! 🖤 Aww thank you so much - very sweet of you 🌺
It really depends on your hair - if I put water in it the curls will go away, but I always put in mouse to make it hold longer, so just try playing around with it 😁
@@prareyapandey7657 Well it's your lucky day - I have this video where I share all the tea about how I take my own pictures 📸 th-cam.com/video/-PjFizZqqtY/w-d-xo.html
I do it with completely dry hair as I find that I get the best results but also bc if I do it with wet hair my hair would simply still be wet even if I waited 80 years 😭 But your hair might not be like that, so try it out and see what works best for you 🙌🏼🎉
It really depends on your hair - mine will not hold anything really (not even a perm 🙄) but if yours is more doable you can totally just do it every other day or however it fits 😁 I do mine every night though - it's just a part of my night routine now 😅
I really appreciate the 2 camera shots here.

But when I let go of my hair after tieing it, the whole thing loosens
Aww thank you so much - very sweet of you 🌺
I'm obsessed with ur natural and wavy hair.
Thank you - it's not natural tho 😅
So like...the “Dorothy” ...wizard of waves
haha yes kinda! 🙈

Superr cute! God job!!
Super cute comment and I'm glad you liked it! 😍
after curling .can i spray it with water and add some mousse?
It really depends on your hair - if I put water in it the curls will go away, but I always put in mouse to make it hold longer, so just try playing around with it 😁
hey can i ask if i have small bangs ifront will they look good if i curl them too? they reach like my nose
It really depends on the style so try it out! I curl mine as well but I have curtain bangs so yours might be different 🥰
can i do it without pinning it on the back of my hair? would the result be as good as urs?
It really depends on your hair - mine is soo soft that it would just fall out if I didn't pin it down 😅
I dont have any of the products can i use plain water
Yes most definitely! I just try different things out and see what works 🌺
Thank u

@@ZithaNim thanks 😊😊
@@prareyapandey7657 Hope it helps you 🌺
Love thisssss ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you - that makes me so happy! 🌺
do you do this with wet hair or dry hair? like would it work better with dry hair or wet hair
I do it with completely dry hair as I find that I get the best results but also bc if I do it with wet hair my hair would simply still be wet even if I waited 80 years 😭
But your hair might not be like that, so try it out and see what works best for you 🙌🏼🎉
Do you have to repeat every night? Or do the curls stay longer than 1 day?
It really depends on your hair - mine will not hold anything really (not even a perm 🙄) but if yours is more doable you can totally just do it every other day or however it fits 😁 I do mine every night though - it's just a part of my night routine now 😅
