Not gonna lie.. there was one part in here that really touched me to the root of my Soul. And all I can say is... Allahu Ahkbar!

NOTES on this chapter:
Scholars explain that Zachariah PBUH asked for a boy not for worldly gain but rather to inherit him in prophethood, there was much corruption in his time and he could not trust anyone to carry his mission.. Notice .Angels spoke to him and gave him the news assuring him that his prayer were answered.. yet he got surprised because he was old and his wife was barren yet even though they told him he would have a son he asked for a sign, May peace be upon him,. so some scholars said God gave him small admonishment for that and he was told that the sign is you won't be able to speak for 3 days without illness or harm...
Notice that Mary PBUH said "I wish I had died" not because of the pain of childbirth but because she worries about what people would say about her reputation, having a baby without being married. Notice the voice that called her while she was giving birth. some scholars says it is non other than BABY JESUS comforting his mother in distress, I am of that opinion !!! Other says it maybe the angel .. because "he called or cried to her..." without specifying who is the person . How God is beautiful !!! what a wonderful amazing story...
Notice, that some say that When God said to Mary PBUH to shake the palm tree, it is a proof that we have to do our part to get something. Mary was weak giving birth how could she!! because if you being a man try to shake the palm tree you wont be able to get a single date!! I have tried it for fun in my house, not even one date fall. The palm tree did not even move a bit!! Especially, especially when the fruit is "rutab" early fresh date (light brown and very soft but not yet dark brown that you see in the market, ) the verse mentioned Rutab, meaning fresh dates, it is literally hard to pick them.. I collect dates in my house every year, and I have to swirl each date, one by one ,like changing light bulbs for 4 to six rounds to cut it from its stem.. So the verse is teaching people who meditate well that we need to make a step and the rest is on God hands.. do the work , but also rely on God. Moses was ordered to use the staff, God could have split the sea without any staff! Among the reasons why God made Mary pbuh fast from speaking, it is so that her baby Jesus would, himself, would defend her honor, so people will have no doubt at all!! as well as a miracle etc.
There are many things that can be said.... we did not even scratch the surface... there are so much to say for each verse... Just look at the powerful ending:
"And how many have we destroyed before them of generation? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear FROM THEM a sound."
Death has end all of them: not even a sound or a noise lift from those countless generation before us!! what a powerful verse!

I think one of the reasons Allah has made Isa (PBUH) talk as a baby was to also protect Maryam's honour since people back then used to prosecute women who have sex outside of marriage. Allah truly is the most Merciful.

*So* , *my suggestion to you is do lives* - *steams where you and us watch and listen to one Qura'an recitation video a day for the entire month of Ramadan* . *Each video has a portion of the Qura'an* . *Until we finish the whole of the Qura'an by end of the month* . *Usually the length of each video is about 30 to 40 minutes* .
InSha-Allah, we all will benefit from these live-streams.
It also will give you and us the opportunity to ask any question about any verse we listen to during the live-stream.

The Quran and the original scriptures all came from the same 1 source, so similarities are bound because of that, at the same time differences are also bound to happen because the other book got changed with time, where as the Quran did not. that's why the Quran is called (The distinguisher - Al Furqan) meaning if you want to know if something in the bible is correct or not, go to the Quran, because it did not change what so ever from the time god revealed it to the last prophet Muhammad.
So you will see allot of similarities, but clear as day Quran says god did not take jesus as a Son, he (God) is far beyond having children, that's for us and animals and organisms and the lower animal functions of sex etc
No one comes to him as a relative, we all come to him as servants/slaves/creatures on judgement day, that's also very clear.
