Love the Hon! I use an A6 notebook for my daily journaling and absolutely love the size. Maybe one day I'll get a hon! A6 is so cute. I love the seratonin boost of a new notebook every couple of months. That’s a good way to approach it. Yeah. Hobonichi was waaaay out of my budget for a long time so I know how you feel. I hear the Kinbor ones are good though! Xx

Thanks for sharing! I love your honesty and the fact that you’re trying different things in September and other books instead of shopping for 2025. I know what you mean about not having people to talk to about planners and notebooks. I think people think I’m weird. 😂😂
My family are kind of used to me getting excited about cat stickers, but anyone else just gets confused. It’s so nice finding people who have such a huge passion (even if it is through a screen) thank you for watching!! And you will always have a planner friend in me 🫡🫶🏻
Hi Jo! I stumbled across this video and I instantly subscribed! I resonated with a lot of what you talked about. ESP the serotonin boost that buying stationery gives you and how when you started out you felt so much pressure. I felt excatly the same and went into a stationery spiral. And now I have enough stickers pet tapes and all of the things to last at least 5 years 😂.
Welcome to the channel!! Oh yeah - the serotonin boost is a cycle. It’s a balance because this is my hobby but as you said - I’ve got enough stickers to last me a while 😊
With regard to the weeks, I loved it, but I really ended up using it as a date book for work and personal, carrying it around whenever I was out (away from desk, office or home), so I had my two very separate schedules with me - just times blocked off. I also used it for shopping lists, etc. for “out of the house”. I felt this, while a lovely little book, was wasting the powerful little notebook, and I did not want to use it for my personal (too small). I ended up using the weeks for a financial journal, which sits perfectly in my secretary desk. The horizontal allows categorized spending to be quickly tallied and entered on to the monthly, and the index perfect for tracking those pesky infrequent or not auto paid bills. Really works well, and keeps the info separate from my personal journal. Just in case the weekly doesn’t work out as a content journal/planner. I also found it is a great, small profile archive for finances, and has really helped me stay focused in my financial goals as it is so easy to tally spending (which went unaccounted for far too long).
I love the idea of a financial journal, I would love to have one in theory (and I think it would be beneficial to me) but in reality I know I can never keep it up. Im starting to accept the fact that I wish I was a weeks person but it’s just not for me (right now). X
