The reason for the weirdly shaped skeleton in the first dig site is that it's probably a Hobbit reference, since the sword is named Stinger, very similar to the sword Sting, used by Frodo and Bilbo Baggins. Also explains the "Lucky" die, because hobbits are lucky!

The fact that the maps for ALL treasures aren't needed to find them is interesting enough, but the idea that the Ancient Treasures can be found both without the maps AND without the preorder that gives the maps in the first place is really quite impressive. To me it shows that the developers were trying a little to reward the preorders, but at the same time they weren't arbitrarily punishing those who DID NOT preorder by letting the treasure exist in world either way.
Well it’s sucks because you can pay for the dlc which says it’s about ancient treasure and then it’s a waste of money cos you don’t even need the maps

Yeah I was going to say I didn’t see any of the armor there, but it’s still very cool that there’s *something* there without the dlc, better than the dozens of times I followed guides as a kid just to realize right at the end it’s dlc only and I waste all my time for say, a chest that doesn’t exist
It seems like there is a difference since i bought it and got more items from the first grave but the graves themselves are there for the looting just with different stuff
@@gingershrimp4024You get the Warhorse armor if you own the Royal edition as well.
So many things have changed with later updates and DLCs. Firstly, ancient treasure chests each contain various pieces of the Warhorse armor kit in addition to all the items mentioned here.
Secondly, trade mechanics have changed A LOT. You won’t be able to sell items for the same price as listed in their description. I just tried to sell a saddle worth 1.2K groschen to a horse trader and he only offered me around 450 groschen for it. Which seems more realistic as the traders want to buy stuff cheap and sell them for profit. If you want to buy the item back, you’ll be paying its full price, so think twice before selling things. Also, not every trader will buy every item from you. Swordsmiths only buy weapons (excludimg bows, you have to sell those to huntsmen or archery masters), armoursmiths only buy armor, grocers only buy food etc. General-purpose blacksmiths and all-round traders may buy anything from you, but they will offer you a much lower price than if you sell the same item to someone who specializes in trading it. So only sell those items to all-round traders, which don’t have a specialist to sell them to (e.g. jewelry).
I was recently digging graves in the open world and came across a grave that had a regular skeleton.. but then a smaller one laying in the pelvic region.. a shout to the amount of women that died during childbirth.

First step to find a treasure, is to find a camel.
That will only help if it is a working camel! A smoking camel for instance will not help at all!^^

I would have never known that I had to learn to read before learning a recipe if you hadn't mentioned it every single time it came up...
Um just for reference if you do have the maps and the game recognises you are supposed to know where the treasure is you get a unique set of armour across the five maps, the “warhorse” set which I dug up yesterday, it’s pretty good set but in this video it isn’t there so I presume you don’t get it unless you got the royal version or preordered 😊
Or buy the season pass/appropriate dlc.

Folks should be able to parse that out if they have played at all.
Or they can use the chest exploit to get the full value.

a little note, I am not sure if it is only for me but you don't have to know how to read to read the recipes. maybe its just me but worth a try. still learning to read is important for potion making because it will be very hard making potions and poisons without a decent reading skill
I saw in the video that the warhorse gear don't show in your treasure locations, does that mean you have to have the dlc to get the warhorse gear in those locations?
I’ve found some of these chests but they had some warhorse armour pieces in them is that due to the preorder dlc?

FYI, they added a special Warhorse set to these chests. they're not the best, but its decent and has a value of 1 so I'm wearing them instead of the nice stuff since I'll get nothing out of them xD

U can also get a 6th heavenly kingdom dice from pickpocketing Stephan Fletchling.
I found all these walked two feet got ambushed by guys with gear that was 20x better than mine died and then it reset me all the way back before I even got the first one because fun

Map 4 is my favorite hunting ground. There are plenty of rabbit and deer. I found that chest on accident when hunting there for about a week.
I used to crouch on the top of the wall to see more game.
To brew anything you don't need to be able to read, just take the ingredients for poison, combine and distill (you don't have to boil, or grind anything, easiest brew for simplicity). Also all the amounts shown in your menu is NOT the sell value, not even with a high speech and related perks. Otherwise, decent advice.

i think you are getting the values a bit wrong , the value shown is how much you could buy it for , not how much you can sell it for , which is usually about half i think, and its Groschen NOT gold!!!
