Energy represents the foundational cost of all goods and services. When you raise the price of energy the poor starve and the rich just buy smaller yachts.
The carbon tax is a tax on a tax. Look at your utility bill. They tax the GST and the the HST. They tax the transmission and distribution plus administration so tell me how this is a carbon tax when everything is tax again and again. Maybe the utilities companies are doing this on their own but I highly doubt it.

After Pierre Poilievre sets our economy onto the right track to be dealing successfully with DJT, we should invite America's 50 States to become Provinces, to join Canada's existing 10 Provinces and 3 Territories, with a great new capital city for our great new 60 Province nation right in the heart of *Turtle Island/North America, and... "New Canada"* *(home of the 2025 Stanley Cup)* . ***WINNIPEG!*** Canada, has all the water, wood, and oil *Turtle Island* needs for long term Global independence, security, and power.
