As always, great video! Boy, I've heard it ALL. Vinegar, salt, dawn, urine, you name it. I've even came across a customer applying gasoline to yellow nutsedge in the landscape with a Qtip! 😂 Keep em coming Jason!
I was always told a little bit of diesel fuel and dawn dish soap does the trick. I asked what the dawn does and supposedly it sticks to the surface of the plant keeping the diesel from dripping off.
I love the idea of natural solutions. However, I've used vinegar solutions and they have a rapid impact, but for some reason it seems like the weeds also come back quicker.
Great video as always! Do you typically add any surfactant to the Glyphosate? Also, I recently bought some Imazapyr to add to my Glyphosate mix for its preemergent characteristics when spraying rocked areas. Do you have any experience or advice with Imazapyr?
I personally have not used imazapyr but have heard very good things. Some people mix it with prodiamine and glyphosate to spray bare ground areas such as gravel
Thanks! These types of comparisons are great!

Does fire (landscaping flamethrower) keep weeds from coming back? Does the heat damage the roots enough,or does the ash actually benefit the plant?

I heard from the state it's illegal to even spray homemade weed killers. Is this true?
Helpful, thanks

I think most glyphosate products already have surfactant in the mix.
