Your long hours this week reminds me again of what you said. “I’m a trucker first, and make videos second, not vice versa.” Makes me appreciate each of your videos. Great channel. To you, and all the truckers, thank you. Safe travels, Daniel.
I used to buy special boots that are made for walking on ice. I still have the last pair I bought before I retired. It's more dangerous walking than driving during the winter.
woww Dan 3700 miles one week going at it 7 strt days... omg... sounds so tuff really hard.. that's like 550 miles everyday solid. ya sounded kinda beat too Goodluck You Bailey go eazzzy
That will get you away from the deep freeze. I was reading some of the comments and one said driving on the white stuff looked difficult. It requires skill and a lot of common sense and the driver must have a great "feel" for everything the vehicles is doing. And these are my opinions.
Good thing you got out of Michigan, Sunday in Metro Detroit I drove through some of the worst whiteout conditions I've ever been in. Multiple freeways were closed due to crashes.
Dan you can buy some ice cleats and you just slip them on your shoes, get the pair with the signal pad attached to a signal flex band ,so you can rotate the pad from the bottom of you boot to the top when you run out of ice
As always great video you rank high on the list stay strong and true i love seeing balely. I ran flatbed with missy a German shepherd she love trucking and people loved her. She had a fan club i pull in to shipper, receiver the office would come kid nap her to the office great times. I haul tanker now they not allow pets in plants. See you on the flip side
Great to see you up and about Dan especially the train for today Vaughan NM is a great place for trains as the UP Main line crosses the BNSF Main line.. All good Down Under and a touch of Fall appearing first thing of a morning. Cheers and take care.
I laid an end dump on it's side in that scrap yard. Not my finest moment. Luckily it wasn't really my fault. I didn't want to dump it because it was over loaded and stuck in the front pretty good. So I called he boss man who lived across the highway from there. He came over and insisted I dump it. One magnet was out of order and he other one was busy unloading a train. So he didn't want me to wait. And well.... things just didn't go well.
My sisters friend came to Canada from Perth Australia years ago….I’ll never forget watching him walk out onto a frozen lake to watch the people Ice fishing…..he tip toed at least 200 feet with his arms out to his sides….he was laughing along with us but he was scared to death 😂
Hi Dan. How long have you been owner driver? I've been an owner driver on and off since 1987. At time's I had several trucks, problems with that is you need good reliable drivers, hard to come by. I set up last year car transporter business delivering round the UK, working on my own these days, to much stress relying on other people working for you. Keep the video's coming, stay safe. 🤗 Peter 🇬🇧.
I know for a fact he's been a owner operator for atleast 10 years because he has been with Mercer for that long and they only have lease/owner operators
I have a 45' coach towing a car. On the road speaking at conferences from Maine to California for about 9 months each year for the last five years. Two questions: What do RV drivers like me do that upset truck drivers and is there any value having a CB radio? Enjoy your channel a lot! Thank you
Not so keen on some of the audio tracks... we've been slipping, sliding, shoveling and sanding in New England and there's no end insight, yet. For sure, black ice can ruin the day, no matter how it's been going!
Can CDL truckers allowed to drink or eat anything when in Left seat driving bigrig moving? like just simple snack chips or sip a coke soda coffee while driving 8-10 hrs like all day and nite ? serious askn. with all cameras facing drivers watchn every second.. How's it work? I see lot truckers got soda or coffee cup in holder upfront. So would DOT stop or fine tix driver if sees catches u w drink or snacks up front seat? Seems stupid if not allowed.. no trucker person could drive hours everyday if couldn't do it a little carefully... as long not distracted, right? would be dehydrated wilted tired sleepy too. . more dangerous. If there is rule.. it must apply then to all class cdl or any cmv drivers like bigbus greyhound busdrivers too ? right?

As much as you spend time hauling freight in the Midwest you should move closer to the lanes that you run. More home time.

Good video.
Ironic you mentioned pile up and then there was one yesterday on 696.

Well if you averaged $3.00/mile, that's a good week.
I try to keep at 8.5 hours a day when I leave out. I took most of January off. I keep looking for that big orange truck.
Just wondering if you are hearing any rumbling of a freedom convey in the states
LOL freedom from what?
I seen you park in von. I stopped there bout 8pm to grab food
finally!
He could just quit posting all together so be happy with what you get.
Stupid ATV's 🤣 You have to eventually get rid of those single headlights and hang some old school cool duals!
Nice video again hope you find some good loads, i heard it is a bit of a hassle at the moment.
I talked to you and walked around the yard with you and your dog a while back..don't recall if you are running 24 or 22" rims..just wondering
Dan can you sell some of those ski caps on your sight
Is it my phone pixilating or your camera?? Not sure
I live in Australia, never seen snow. Driving on those icy roads looks tough as hell.
My sisters friend came to Canada from Perth Australia years ago….I’ll never forget watching him walk out onto a frozen lake to watch the people Ice fishing…..he tip toed at least 200 feet with his arms out to his sides….he was laughing along with us but he was scared to death 😂
So you only haul the stupid atv's? The smart ones go elsewhere? Lol.
You don’t know what your missing, & lucky!!

I thought you were still home 🏡
Should be super truckers Dan and Bailey?
Anyone know what song was at 7:40? Slaps harder than my grandma!
Greg Street... Nappy Roots. Search it on TH-cam Yo...
Can you start the generator from inside the cab?
Did you stop by the house on your way to Las Vegas
I saw a Radio Shack at 4:17- Thought they were out of business???
You Better be Chasing the Money 💰 because Teresa wouldn’t want you Chasing anything else. 😬👍

If u had a cb radio, you could hear what the truckers are saying about you?
That a lot of miles driver.
I’m starting my own business flat bed. How much are you home? Do you prefer local run or long haul?
What happened to the atv?
Not so keen on some of the audio tracks... we've been slipping, sliding, shoveling and sanding in New England and there's no end insight, yet. For sure, black ice can ruin the day, no matter how it's been going!
Those kidney checks aren't any fun. Good luck in Lost Wages.
Too funny. Stupid atvs. Lol
