Azai Nagamasa a diamyo and a woman named Oichi gave birth to her, Azai Nagamasa died due to him betraying Nobunaga who was his brother. Azai's clan fell and lost to Nobunaga. He was only 28 years old. Oichi lived on for only 10 more years. She then died at 37 due to Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Yodo Dono (Chacha) was then forced to marry Toyotomi. Years later, Toyotomi died due to natural cuases. Her son, Toyotomi Hideyori became his successor. Hideyori and Yodo Dono rebuilt the clan after Hideyoshi who was once the most powerfull man in japan untill he died. Years later, Tokugawa Ieyasu began an attack at the Osaka castle. Yodo Dono and Hideyori made a peace treaty. However, 4 years later Ieyasu broke this treaty and attacked the castle again. Yodo Dono and Toyotomi Hideyori commited suicide. A memorial stands where Yodo Dono and Toyotomi Hideyori commited suicide. Yodo Dono is in my opinion one of the strongest females in history. Imagine going through all of that.

Her ex-husband (not divorced but they are separated because her husband married another woman by Hideyoshi order, she went into temple as nun) misjudged and join Toyotomi side, while she intended to join Tokugawa for reasons like her clan's archenemy Shimazu was joining Toyotomi side and her hate for Toyotomi as Hideyoshi was summoning her to serve him during his reign. Then she complied to her husband decision despite she was having the right call, defended the castle for her husband against overwhelming Tokugawa's army while her husband was leading almost all the army to the field, leaving it almost defenseless, with a couple of nuns. After the war, they were spared and Ieyasu offering position for her husband, which he refused to take initially. They went separate way in custody, her husband was taken into nobel estate as guest ronin, while she was sent to nearby farming village to live with a farmer. She could have easily married to another nobel or get back into the temple, but for whatever reason, she didn't (or maybe couldn't), the farmer didn't get any support from the custodian, which is rare, she wasn't getting any medicine even though she was sick. The farmer tried to get her husband to support her but the letters were not replied and eventually she died of sickness, some said she kill herself realizing the humiliation they set upon her or starve to death, refusing to eat. The sad thing is that, her husband accepted Tokugawa's offer, resume as lord few years after her death, at that moment became the solely surviving Tachibana and overtook her role (assigned to Ginchiyo by late Tachibana, Ginchiyo's father) as Tachibana's head. The logic could be he wanted to get rid of her so that he can legally accept the clan's head. He could have accepted the term as soon as they were defeated but he just wouldn't want to share the power with her I guess.
I really do feel like Nioh’s music doesn’t get the appreciation it deserves. That makes it so much harder to find proper extensions of things, so thanks. Would you consider extending other certain tracks, like Orochi’s theme?
The issue with Nioh's music is that too many tracks are reused. Compared to Dark Souls for example which has an unique soundtrack for each boss no matter how unimportant they are.
@@killertitan6354 Yep, around 80% of the major bosses each have their own unique theme, not to mention they introduced an incredible implementation of dynamic music for them. Having any omissions at all is very odd though, Katsuie in particular lacking his own theme is bizarre to me.
T D clearly haven’t played Demon’s PS3 or Souls 1. One of the greatest parts of Demon’s Remake is that Tower knight and Penetrator don’t share OST anymore (although that ost kicked ass so I’m not complaining 🤣)
Also Hide was stuck in stasis so we couldn't do anything about the situation, maybe Mumyo could've helped William but she must've been busy with other stuff.
Games like these make me realise that there are other masterpiece just like Nioh that people are unaware of and so many things a person will miss in his little lifespan.
I only discovered Nioh in freaking 2022. I'm glad I did. I played the Dark Souls franchise for years without knowing Nioh or Yakuza franchise. Lots of it has to do with the games being only localised and marketed in Japan for years.
He had fun on both but prefers the new dish over the old ones. While people prefer the "taste" of the other that you find bad is your own sense of "taste" not everyone's. May you enjoy your games and not let anyone tell you what to play.

Honestly i hated the more than vague lore of Dark Souls , while Vaatividya does his best to give his interpretation it doesn't suffice as canon. Darksouls are fine games but as combat goes...it's a bit on the weak side and doesn't really give you that visual lfair , and i get its supposed to be drab post apocalyptic medieval but Nioh? Nioh does this and more, and also makes you feel like you can relate to William more than you did with your Chosen Undead. William just wants what was stolen from him. We've all been there. Chosen Undead? What the hell were we doing? Why did we decide to go on the quest? Because we were asked? Hell i LOVED William's quips through the game. From calling Ieyasu a smug powerless prick at realizing he couldn't see a Kodama messing with him, granted the Ieyasu at that point was a fake. You never got ANY personality with the Chosen undead. And that is what i considered a MAJOR let down in the soulsborne games....i let Bloodborne slide with it because honestly...you're a hunter ...a loud hunter is a dead hunter. Blood borne and Nioh i think are the pinnacle of all soulsborne and its clones. Code vein following in a VERY close second.

Also build variety is better I guess but only the most absolute hardcore gamers would see that as a significant advantage. The atmosphere, art style, enemy design, level design, world design, boss fights, music are all what make me really love dark souls and all of those are infinitely better than there nioh counterparts. And don't even get me started on blood borne. I had a lot of fun with nioh, I just can't see how if anyone looks at it onjectively, they can put it in the same league as the from soft games. Also I would rather no story and just vague lore than Niohs garbage story and characters

Dragon designs are freaking creepy and don't get me started on slimy Oceirus ....the only dragon i liked was the Ancient one and Midir. Also can we talk about UNTIL Midir they were EASY? Nioh's gets me stressed out playing it as i die ALOT more than in Souls...Souls i could parry and block and ...nothing happened. Nioh i could dodge and get clipped, dodge and get my ki OBLITERATED in one attack...if i died in Dark Souls it's because of my own stupidity. But i digress i found the living weapon a more enjoyable mechanic and the different moves in Nioh INFINITELY better than Dark souls... Honestly the first time i did a dragoon jump in Nioh my love for the game increased. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN DO IN DARK SOULS WITH A WEAPON OTHER THAN SMASH AND SLASH!? No interesting unique leaping atacks no Get over here's....fuck the kisari gama by the way.. but i digress. I mean come on Sekiro is made by From and it's lore is even worse than Nioh's despite drawing from the same culture! So there you have it.
