Andy Gideon built one of you Super Chipmunks. I was impressed. I'd go for this Cub except I already have 2 1/4 scale and 2 1/5 scale Cubs. I love Cubs. More fun than an old man deserves!
That was beautiful. Now I need to order one. Looks like you did an awesome job building and covering and it flew great. Engine sounded a bit rough but break-in time will probably take care of that. I like how you kept good altitude until you knew for sure the engine was going to keep going. I'm a pilot and altitude is always your best friend. I'll be putting the DLE-20RA or maybe the DLE-30RA in my build. Haven't decided yet. I'm not sure it needs the horsepower of the 30. After all, it is a Cub. If you have any pointers I'd love to hear them. Thank you for the great video.
Yes, there is a door option. We don't offer a scale cockpit but you can find them for 1/4 scale size planes. We made a wire gear from the plans with a hook and bungee system.

Does this have the side door built into the kit? And are there any scale cockpits that work with it? And finally, what landing gear did you use?
