- Orange conrod, green and upper yellow cranks create a parallelogram mechanism.
R1: pitch radius of green gear
R2: pitch radius of blue gear
i = R1 / R2 = 40 / 19. This ratio is needed to meet requirement when green gate rotates α = 58 deg., blue gate rotates 90 deg. in relation with the green gate.
i changes when α has different values. i = 1 if α = 90 deg.
If necessary a supporting swivel wheel for the blue gate is mounted at its lower right corner.

The two gears can be replaced by a bar to get similar effect. See:

Function of the gears: synchronizing the rotations of two gate panels. Without gear the parallelogram mechanism is useless and the panel, that is not connected to the cylinder, will move uncontrollably.
Instead of gear, 4-bar linkage can be used:

We can ignore the gear if we increase the braket on the other part and use 2 or 3 bolt for it

I haven't set up formulas for calculation of this mechanism.
But the easy and fast way to get alpha angle is to try with various values of i while simulating the mechanism.

Don't blame a great mechanics demonstration playlist, blame the advertisements. And if they bother you that much, get ad blocker instead of complaining and disliking.
