Good video. Quick tip/trick if you perform card under box, you can put R&S on the box cellophane ans on a card and the two will stay together when slid around a table, letting you add an additional layer of misdirection.

That is the best magic review channel I have ever seen! Someone actually understands what he is talking about and is objective. Thanks for a review. Subsribed.

You might consider a review of the limited output of Jeremiah Zuo. It's your kind of stuff, I believe. I believe, most of his stuff is available through Chicago Magic Bash (Tom Dobrowolski).

I came across "Box Clever" ages ago....and bought it immediately. James Brown - expert in misdirection. So I'll stick with the original. Anyway -- thank you for all your great reviews. Your knowledge of magic history is especially impressive. Always wondered --- you see an effect....and mention that a similar idea was published by some magician in 1957. How the hell do you do that??

Often I remember a routine I read that is similar but still have to go back and look it up. Past 10 years I have been much better at taking my own notes on books and magazines but back in the day I just relied on my memory…

David, I have the original DVDs so not needing this. Why do magic companies keep trying to reinvent the wheel? By putting out rehashed inferior products. Keep up the good work ❤

Had it been half the price of the original release, it would have made some sense.

I also wondering why they are also releasing effects that are part of subscription services. Often charging more for the single effect than a whole month subscription would be from the creator. It’s all become a cash grab. My advice- don’t impulse buy! Wait for honest reviews before you part with your hard earned money.

@@UnbiasedMagicReviews it is a normal business model/strategy. Even the movie/media streaming industry would charge more for a single movie than a subscription.
The only exception is that movies become cheaper the older they are. Especially ones that are more than 5 years old

Didnt need an update at all, still use the original but I end with Jim Krenz' move. Never really end with the whole deck inside either always just move on to something else.

Thanks for the review and recommendations! You definitely know your stuff 👍 I completely agree about Helder's routine, it's fantastic. On a similar note, I'd also recommend checking out Guy Hollingworth "Three Cards Under a Box" routine from DRD. The structure of the trick is really good, and the switch at the end is worth learning and the routine can be performed with 3 signed cards.

Always a potpourri of review products. I do like the selection of old and new products and the obvious familiarity with what he is reviewing. You may or may not agree with him, but I really feel like you're getting his best, honest opinion.

Nice, thank you! I was wondering what the difference between the new one and old one are.

Two phases…. So basic and simple that you would laugh when you see how they tried to justify releasing this again.

I agree Reflections is an amazing book 👍 his last book Secret Language Vol 1 (2019) is also a great one ! In a similar vein to his card to box there is an amazing 3 Card to pocket / Travelers routine using the Pedro Lacerda multiple shift Helder taught in Reflections 👍
