I started a business with my only investment and got partner who is good in this field. I gave him 50 % equity in the conditions of all ROI payback .Still he betrayed me. So either u gave your partner equal shares or not, its only matter if your partner is loyal to you & your business.This young boy not greedy and looks like really loyal and hard worker.
I like only two guys in shark tank Aman and Piyush who really understand the business andibserve the correct things of its. Remaining shark only time pass and enjoy their time.

Marketing is the key of the product you need to understand the customer mindset the guy who is running marketing at low cost and getting 200% outcomes which means business is truly dependent on his skills is the reason that guy deserves either shares or a better salary bcoz the owner is dependent in him.
Regarding you said about giant tata alliance and others they give value to their employees pay them. Good salary and many other benefits

He was not an ordinary employee. Do you have any employee without equity who handles marketing, technology, branding, fulfilment as well as sales for a company?
In case there's such an employee in any other company, their package is in crores and they own equity in the company also.
@@railfanVishal Without investment no one gives a single equity, what if the business was loss then the entire loss was of the owner and not the employee that is the reason he was giving him commission because it is startup, every where in startup this is the case. Still they already came here with the discussion of 10% because he did a great job and run the business but as business grows terms can be revised and discussed again looking at the performance. No one becomes CEO as he/she joins, they need to grow business and then organizations thinks to give the person equity.
The issue here is there won't be loss because that guy is running the whole business. Clothes on their own aren't that unique or saleable in crores in such less time as they have done there. It is bcz of that guy who is doing evry other work the business is even making profits. Sharks don't want to put their money on the person who invested only money into this business bcz the profit is not becz of that capital investment alone but mostly cz of the IT guys skills. His marketing tech branding sales evrythg togthr is the only reason that business of normal oversized tshirts is making profits n sales in crores. Otherwise it's just a basic tshirt. As much capex the first guy has put, without the second guys skills the business wudnt even worthy of having turnover in crores.
If sharks invest here wen the first guy has 100% then anytime the second guy leaves co. The co. Will be making zero profits. So they cannot bet on the first guy cz profits r not bcz of him. He has only given capital which even sharks can give that much capital to second guy n strt a whole new business cz the talent that guy has is extraordinary he can sale aythg by his skills or marketing. Product being any basic thing is what sharks observed here.
You may say, if second guy leaves he can hire someone els to do the same job. Thing is al that work that guy is doing is worth crores even as an employee. Like 4-5jobs togther he's doing alone. If he hires someone els as employee to do same job they won't hv as much skills as this second guy cz its an extraordinary skill to do all that and even if he finds such unique talented employee the hiring cost will be in crores where this guy was only getting 1Lakh. Jo kaam crore ka worth ho usko sirf 1lakh Dena is like giving peanuts to the person who is the soul reason for the profits of the co.
Everybody who says this second guy shudnt be given more than 10% stake clearly do not understand what all he's doing for the co. N how less he is been given in money for his work. No wonder even that guy doesn't kw his own value. He's the only reason co. Is making sales n profits in that scale, he's the gem of the co. If founder guy loses him the whole business has no value. When ur whole business in crore sales is dependent on that guy u shud atleast give him salary in crores or equity in 40% stake. Only then sharks will take bet on the co. As they know for sure second guy has rights in co.
