      Thanks so much. The other good things is that they can be made to a size that suits whatever you are doing and if it's only used a few times it's a really inexpensive way to get a stamp. I have alphabet stamps that I hardly every use. Thanks again :)

    Hi Kylie....yes you can get rubbing alcohol in the UK....also some chemist’s also sell it.... our local Lloyd’s have it, I got mine off Amazon.
    Hope this helps!...Kathy x

      Thank you so much for letting me know that Kathy - I had asked in my local chemist but from what they said I did not think it was available here. I'll try a larger chemist and if not will get it from Amazon. Thanks again xo

    Mitchalisia Hi, thanks for sharing this ! Can I ask why when you wrote dream on the paper, why you didn't turn the paper over & then trace that into the foam ? So happy you've taught me this, it will be very helpful to me, & saves $$$ bc I don't always have the budget to buy stamps ! Thank you very much ! 👏👏 🌸😊🌸💖

    • @KylieCooStudio
      @KylieCooStudio  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi - thanks for watching and commenting ... and that's a good question ... I just did not think to turn over the paper and use it! I'll keep that in mind for future though. Some stamps are very expensive to buy and it can be fun to make our own anyway. Thanks again :)

    Your Stazon needs rubbing alcohol. This is very common problem with it - usually theres still plenty of ink in the pad, but the alcohol has left the building.. When adding rubbing alcohol doesnt help anymore, then re-ink it or buy a new one. I threw away so many Stazons, only to learn way later that they really werent dead yet, just dry.

    • @KylieCooStudio
      @KylieCooStudio  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Jane for that tip. I don't think we have rubbing alcohol in the UK (though I might be able to get it via Amazon) - I think there is something else that is similar so I will try that. Thanks again :)

    • @janemiettinen5176
      @janemiettinen5176 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kylie, I bet you have it there too, if I can get it in Finland! Its isopropylalcohol, most likely found at a pharmacy. Americans can buy it from grocery stores at pennies per bucket, but we have to settle for 100ml bottles at 6,50€ (5£?). Next time you go to pharmacy, ask for it, it might not even be on the shelf. Its great for other purposes too, like waking up dried markers, removing paint or glue from clothes/skin/anywhere or fixing that brand new and guilty-expensive pressed powder you bought and dropped, turning it back to atoms... But if you cant get it, I think ethanol might work also.
      And while you are there, grab some glycerin too! Thats another basic ingredient in my craft room, its about the same price as the rubbing alcohol, and I could not live without these two. Just be prepared for possible questions about the glycerin, as it turns out, it is key ingredient for some kind of bomb, so..
      Third crafty thing I buy from pharmacy is the micropore-tape, its like blank washitape, way better than masking tape, if you too like to make your own. Theres couple different widths too.
      I meant to answer you quickly about the isopropylalcohol, but somehow this turned into ”whats crafty at the chemists”.. Oh well.

    • @KylieCooStudio
      @KylieCooStudio  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi - the foam came from the kids section of Hobbycraft here in the UK. It does not have any brand name on it. It is 2mm thick which is around 1/16th of an inch (maybe just a tiny bit more). Hope that helps :)

    Does the foam stay squashed by the pen lines or does it start to swell back up to its original flat shape?

    • @KylieCooStudio
      @KylieCooStudio  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi :) Thanks for watching and for your question. So far the foam has stayed squashed though I expect in time that it will rise a little bit - in that case I would just go over to with the pen again. I also did some leaves recently and I've used them a few times now and they have been fine. Hope this helps :)
