Structural design software is heavily relied for structural analysis & structural design. These structural analysis tools and structural design software have made our work more streamlined and efficient. But here's a fact - are you double-checking the results these tools churn out? It is mandatory that we introduce structural checks and validation in our design workflow to ensure that the results these structural design software produce are accurate and reliable.
In this video you can see a basic check that is mandatory to validate analysis results. Comparing support reactions by hand calculations can ensure the ETABS model or any structural analysis software is giving error free results.

@@nitinjaiswal7461 If Diploma Engineers wish to get in to design, they should complete engineering. As per the rules in India, diploma is not sufficient to qualify as a structural engineer. However they can learn basic courses to understand a few things. Also focus on structural detailing and BIM
