Even the best players are dogshit compared to the information Guzu displays in his HC death reaction videos.. Ion Hazzkostas 'mathematically proofed' that C'thun was impossible pre nerf, but did they try it with 8+ geared fury warriors fully world buffed? Nope, because no guild really worldbuffed back in the day until Naxx and no guild had so many geared fury warriors at their disposal.
Kinda funny in hindsight how being in a casual raid actually is more time consuming than doing tryhard speedruns. I mean, the runs on my main were almost never expensive. I could farm the amount of gold for that in 30 minutes, then get buffs and be ready to clear 2 raids in maybe 2h combined. That's a total of 3 hours of time invested per week on my warrior. But when you keep wiping or just dying and needing to reapply things... shit gets expensive. But the only bad thing on my main was pre-BiS farming (and that was mainly SGC and Truestrike bc they just wouldn't drop).

By the time AQ was released we cleared BWL in less than 2 hours, but in the beginning we did it over 2 days.
