- Today would have been the 90th birthday of Klaus Wunderlich. A genius of playing, arranging and creating an absolutely unique sound. Although i never had the chance to see him live, he is still one of my biggest idols and inspirations and he will always be.

Danke vielmal für diese wunderschöne Erinnerung an Klaus. Die Musik von Klaus Wunderlich werde ich immer in meinem Herzen tragen. Ich kann Dir eigentlich gar nicht genau erklären warum, ich liebe Sie einfach. Seine Musik war immer gefühlvoll gespielt mit immer perfekten Harmonien.

Man merkt, daß Du Klaus Wunderlich als Vorbild hast. Und es hört man vor allem. Du spielst excellent. Ich bin am überlegen, meine Delta DX 500 T wieder zu aktivieren. Aus Platzmangel war die jahrelang in einem Keller abgeschoben.

Very Nice Playing Florian.... Similar to Klaus .............I have seen Klaus twice playing at Wolverhampton Civic Hall -Me a bit older than him & will never forget him I wonder how would have sounded on these modern instruments ? Best wishes ....Bill Bickley ...uk...
Thank you very much, Bill. Well, that’s difficult to say. He always played the Basic version of the Spectra and skipped more modern and already available upgrades such as Livestyle or Golden Gate probably for a good reason. He for sure would have used the orchestral sounds of the modern instruments, but I’m also pretty sure, that he wouldn’t be happy with the drawbars sound of the new organs. Other than me and a lot of my colleagues he might have been successful in convincing the companies, that a good drawbars sound is the most important thing in an organ, but who knows, it’s all speculation.
Hervorragend Florian ... ich weiß, dass jemand geschrieben hat, dass Klaus Wunderlichs Spieltechnik und -stil nie erreicht wurde, aber für mich persönlich, und wie viele andere hier, ist Ihre Interpretation geradezu ähnlich ... tausendfachen Dank für all diese Erinnerungsarbeit !
Vielen Dank, Patrick. Ich sehe es auch so, dass Klaus Wunderlichs Können nie erreicht wurde. Natürlich spiele ich sehr gerne seine Arrangements und seinen typischen Sound, aber ich war nie ein Fan davon, wenn Leute geschrieben haben, ich wäre genau so gut, weil es nicht zutrifft und es auch einfach unpassend ist. Trotzdem ist es natürlich der Stil, den ich schon immer am Liebsten spiele und der auch mit der Grund dafür war, warum ich Orgel spiele und den werde ich immer beibehalten 😉
Lovely sound, wish I could create it. I was lucky enough to see Klaus three times in concert. I still play a lot of his arrangements. My favourite has got to be Jill's theme from once upon a time in the west.

... ganz hervorragende Darbietung, Florian 👍👏😍 ( dem Klaus wird es im "Musik-Himmel" selbstredend zu sagen 😉 ) - 90. Ehrentag, Wahnsinn, 1997 ist er verstorben, "Kinder, wie die Zeit bloß rennt" 🤦♂️. Great playing, but for me there’s no sound from the pedal bass ??
Thanks Peter. Actually there is of course sound from the bass pedal. I record the sound 1:1 from the organ while i play live and of course i use the big Wersi TS 7000 speakers, which obviously produce a much more intense bass than you would get if you listen to the video through some small built in speakers of a laptop, a smartphone or similar devices. I personally still can hear the bass even if i watch the video on my phone, but of course it’s not how it’s meant to be. I would always recommend to use either a good sound system or headphones for a realistic result.
Do you seem to like those organs over lets say a Hammond? Dont think the tone is as deep. Also absolutely love your footwork ! A friend of our was a pro organist she used to use bogh feet on the pedals IN SPIKE HIGH HEELS using only her heel end, dont know how she managed it. I am a true organ lover but never learned myself, Leon Berry
Was a good friend he had a 2 manual Wurlitzer in his basement he made many records on. Keep up the fantastic playing your great !!
Thank you very much for your kind words. 👍 Well, i obviously love those organs, as i have 11 of them in my studio/collection. I prefer this sound over a Hammond and by the way also over the new models, that Wersi built after this series. Hammond is of course a great organ and i also love their sound, but overall it wouldn’t work as good for the style that i want to play.
@@florianhuttermusic I was surprised to hear that but to each his own. Where are those Wersi organs built? I love them all and all the different sounds. I cant believe you have all those organs, do you ever show all of them I would love to see them. Anyway keep playing you have a great talent!

Wersi organs are made in germany, but my old models basically don’t have much to do with the new ones. The company has been owned by several different persons since that time and also nowadays their philosophy of how their instruments should sound has changed a lot.
I do upload videos with other organs of my collection, but that’s always a lot of work, because i have to move parts of my setup, as i don’t have all instruments in the same room.
