Nice to see I am not the only one that has lots of blueberry packages in my refrigerator, too. Thanks for this. Learned so much to help my family hockey players. As a the runner in the family, I can see a lot of overlap. Makes it easy to create meals for the family.
Hey coach Garner! I have learnt a lot of your videos. So thank you for the information you’re giving us! Could you possibly make a video of what to do while sitting in a car going to training/game.🏒🤷♂️🚘 Greetings from Finland - Pessi
I really enjoyed this video but I’m curious about a few things. You seem whole really enjoy plant based Whole Foods which I love. You spoke about saturated and mono saturated fats but like to advocate turkey bacon and eggs and a few other items that are high in saturated fats. I’m also curious about these items as they are also very high in cholesterol and saturated fat. Could you please share you’re thoughts on that as well as why so many top end athletes are moving to a PBWF diet and also share some meal ideas if I eat plant based Whole Foods. Thanks a lot. Keep up the good work 👍
Nope -- But, I'm a Precision Nutrition Master Coach and a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. Between those two and my daily research readings I have come to understand nutritional concepts at a deep level.
I don't recommend counting/weighing your food until you're at least 18 -- For now, just focus on eating whole, healthy foods every 2-3 hours and drinking plenty of water 💪
You can but it's a little tricky, check out my two part series here: www.hockeytraining.com/training-around-injuries-part-1/ www.hockeytraining.com/training-around-hockey-injuries-part-2/
If your goal is hockey performance and recovery, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you have other goals where the keto diet may be more contextually reasonable then there's no reason why you can't do it.

That would be awesome, helpful and super timely! I just started playing roller. Just uploaded a video of us cleaning the rink.

The Dad in me is screaming at you to close that damn fridge.
So no Keto for me as a Hockey Player?
If your goal is hockey performance and recovery, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you have other goals where the keto diet may be more contextually reasonable then there's no reason why you can't do it.
No fish?
