Blanton's SFTB on OnlyDrams lists $159.99 for the MSRP, which is correct. I think mom was looking at regular Blanton's or single barrel select maybe.

The normal zeppelin low proof is $60. The single barrel cask strength was $89.99 at Meijer when I got it.

AS a Blanton's fan i saw SFTB was missing from the back and guessed it would be one of the tested ones
I don't know if I "saved" bad bottles, but I've definitely improved some by dropping a charred oak spiral in the bottle and leaving for 2 weeks, or a few months if it's super youthful. Last bottle I did that with was Old Emmer from Total Wine. Bought because it was heavily discounted and thought why not try it. Not good. But I made a home blend also using Makers Mark with a "Prudent Pappy" idea, dropped in an oak spiral for 2 weeks, and while still not amazing, is at least drinkable. Could have probably kept the spiral in there a bit longer.

Left this comment a few videos ago, but now I’m sold it’s a good idea for a new game show Friday blind!
Both of you have $100 to wager. There are 6 blind bottles you taste and then bid on. Both must end with 3 bottles and minimum bid for a bottle is $15. That way you can go a bit crazy on a bottle but you can’t spend it all. Then who vote who has built the better lineup.

If that Zeppelin Bend single malt is a single barrel from Hoffmans & SWMBH, I can assure you the MSRP is not $60. That bottle was available to purchase last winter and I wanna say was $90-$100. Still a great buy though! I love everything that New Holland is doing

Yes bring on the sister. A newbie episode would be interesting with you guys curating 4 or 5 sips for her to try to see what she thinks and if she prefers any. I like doing this for people who don't know bourbon.

He didn’t really call it though. He just mentioned it amongst others and he didn’t price it according to the actual price of the bottle.

I have a Benchmark single barrel that is remarkably close to most Blanton's I've had. The only difference is the Benchmark just tastes a tad bit younger. I could totally see the Full Proof being very close to a Blanton's SFTB. I've never had SFTB, so there's that.
