This four-bedroom house on Geldeston Road has been thoughtfully renovated and extended care of Emil Eve Architects to create an impeccably designed home, perfectly suited to modern life. They added a two-storey extension, increasing the home’s internal footprint to almost 1,400 sq ft, and used high-quality, bespoke materials throughout. There is a courtyard garden and a roof terrace, with the larger green spaces of Millfields, Abney and Clissold parks, plus Hackney Downs, all within easy reach.

Love that the kitchen can open up entirely to the courtyard.
The L-shaped kitchen with a courtyard! 😯😍
It’s definitely winter right now but it probably looks magical and warm in summer and spring.
I’d add more color to the walls but this space overall is beautiful.
Really refreshing to see such a build in Clapton!
Love the layout of kitchen and backyard.
Love this one. The bathroom, kitchen and patio 😍😍 I wanna move in!!
Love the oak natural wood simple elegant lovely😀
Голос можна слухати як заспокійливе! Відео супер!
Courtyard space coonnected to the kitcheen
Love it but, intrigued in heavy rainfall, at ground level what stops water from entering the house from the "courtyard" ????
Drainage?
Quite nice. But generally feels like a fairly standard middle class Victorian home styled, by a design-conscious couple. Pleasant enough for what it is, but doesn't feel particularly unusual or unique.
Looks cheaply done to me.
I dont think something need be unusual or unique to be enjoyed.
It has nice architectural features, bright light filled spaces and a decent floorplan.
It's a bit pricey but far better than builder grade houses here in the US that are thrown together in a few weeks.
I would enjoy staying there.
I feel like thoughtfulness is unique within itself; it doesn’t have to have shock factor to be unique
@@jasmineo104 I never mentioned 'shock factor' - I hate that in interior design.
I prefer this house over Jennifer Lopez’s $45 mil.
That's oddly specific but I agree
Absolutely and without question
Well, it's what you are LIKELY to afford.
If at all...
So what?
That’s because money doesn’t buy good taste, my friend
Very Good
So how much is it going for?

Extraordinarily Ordinary
1:35 THERE IS NO REFRIDGERATOR!
Presumably counter height refrigerator somewhere? Possibly in the island. Maybe two side by side? (one fridge and one freezer).
@@designunlimited6215 Seems common in Europe to have undercounter appliances that blend in. Also often smaller than American expectations.
@@merrim7765 Definitely. Same here in Australia. Integrated appliances are quite common. My first comment was to Gwendolyn who could see no refrigerator.
Beautiful
Where is their stuff? There doesn't seem to be much storage but they don't have anything out?
probably hidden away/staged for viewings?
Not everyone is a hoarder lol 🤣🤣🤣
Usually people stage their homes for this
... how much stuff do you have?
Maravillosa!!!
E5 has made a triumphant turn around because growing up in hackney, e5 was not necessarily the best for young youth who went to school there, it's interesting how gentrification only benefited a particular percentage and not the originals like myself.
Car permit holders parking space on the road outside this home has multiple stationary planters filling that space. Road is heavily occupied by parked cars, opposite Northwold primary school so that space is needed for residents. Done so to intentionally stop having a parked car outside their house.
Selfish choice by Emil Eve Architects. Recommend caution, thorough diligence if they are doing house plans for your neighbour.
Google maps 35 Geldeston Rd E5 that parking bay planted is not double yellow lines.

Gosh the narrators voice could be used for those suffering from insomnia....yawn
I love it! So chill and soothing. I dislike those over the top, fake excited, grab-your-attention presenters.
@@LyraDavis good for you sweet dream I still think tedious and boring
I think you should have made it q little bigger
ugh dog day afternoon
East London , you mean baghdad
This does have potential but will need a reno. The floor plan is unfortunate.
It's an old crappy building, nothing special. Eastern Europe lives so much better.
