Eastbourne Lifts: The best now abandoned

And will they come back I doubt it. The car park housing the Old Otis’s was closed due to covid and now the council say it’s “structure” is being monitored luckily there is plenty of footage on TH-cam of them.

For the lifts with Stentorgate voice, since it says Ground Floor on the Ground floor, they should really change the announcements on the numbered floors to say 1st & 2nd/3rd & 4th/5th & 6th floor, to make it match with the floor announcements.
