I just got my MJX HyperGO14303 Citroen Rally car yesterday, and the body alone is worth the price of the entire package. I have no idea how MJX made such a detailed body at such a low price point. It has a front nose/bumper/grill with graphics that is a completely separate unit from the Lexan body mold, fully closed off light cups front and back with installed LEDs and LED controller, side mirrors, door handles, aero bits, intakes, and the Citroen wrap-around badge with strip LEDs in it, a huge rear wing, molded side skirts and everything attached to the body is supported with screwed in backing plates. There's chassis mounted front splitter support, and full rear defuser that butts right up to the body perfectly. It's an insanely crafted and detailed RC body that I think beats even the best Tamiya on road bodies. I can't grasp how they can manufacture, assemble, and sell this for $150 US. This thing could stand in as a wonderful shelf model of the real WRC C3 from 2017. All this, and then you get the performance of the actual RC on either 2S or 3S. It's nuts. I might have to buy another one of these so that I can have a clean display model. It's that good looking in person. There's nothing else out there that can even come close to matching what you get with his MJX 14303, for $150. It's shockingly that good.
@R1ZZY10 now that's just my opinion, there may be something you like better or that suits you better. But I like the mega line because of its durability, parts and upgrade support and overall quality for the price.
Another great vid! Awesome driving and like many others have said, fantastic arial coverage! Thanks rek rc, this video made me order one! Cant wait! Keep the content coming, love it and the energy! Your channel will grow to where you deserve and we will be here for the ride!!
I'm really happy you enjoy the content. Knowing that at least some people do, really makes my day and I genuinely appreciate the kind words. Thank you sincerely.
That's crazy, I'll take my 14301 onto a dirt road, and literally, the tiniest pebble will disable the steering or get caught in the wheels, and suddenly, only my left wheel is spinning. Excellent drone footage! You gotta get some go-pros on the cars too, but this is already quality content!
Thank you! This little MJX impressed me like no small scale car ever has yet. The things it can do out of the box with small shock adjustments is incredible!
We really appreciate that you guys are liking the drone stuff and the action footage. It takes some coordinating between Tado and I while we're driving and flying, but it usually works out well.
I really love thes mjx 1/14’ers. I think the gearing change of the 14209 ( with its bigger tire offering)from mJx might make it the better mjx platform out of all of them. I think a really really good race between budget rigs would be , your choice of 1/14 MJX, Rlaarlos Am D or x-12, and WLtoys 124017 desert buggy. Now that would be a race! Excellent video dude! Looks like Rlaarlos Omni terminator is going to get some competition soon from MJX, This should definitely be interesting 😎😝👍🏻
Great video man! Just ordered one. The hyper go brand is amazing. Our 1/16th truck has been launched off of homes roof, ran into concrete curbs at full speed and you name it. Haven’t broken a part and it handles amazing. Also I enjoy my WL Toys 1/14 buggy as much if not more than my arrma typhon 6s. Incredible machines.
Sometimes these budget brands crank out a few undeniably good cars and trucks. If the parts support was more centralized and easier to find, they would be some of the very best buys in the entire rc hobby world. Don't get me wrong, I love the raw power and speed of my maxx slash, the otherworldly acceleration of my turned DR10, and the pure grit of my 3s arrma cars, but sometimes these budget brands just nail it, and make something truly special and good. This particular MJX is one such car, I also did a few videos of the 14210 MJX and it was spectacular, though it was a but wobbly on the road at times. I have a few WLtoys buggies, and for cheap speed they are near impossible to beat for the money. My only gripe about the 14 scale metal chassis WLtoys is that when you crash one going fast, it may or may not break, but either way, it's one crooked RC car after a high speed spill hahahahaha.
I just got my CITROEN... disassembled it entirely, the metal chassis itself is light weight...the internal gears are heavy, the massive spur gear and diff gears . The central shaft gones bent from factory... but its possible to fix
Thank you! I love mine too. I have several of them, but this one really has my attention, it's impressed me like the others haven't, not even the 14210 model.
1/10 wheels will give it a speed boost and ride height those front arches looks a lot larger than the previous two shells which couldn't accommodate 1/10 wheels without buchering the arches
Most MJX cars, I wouldn't because while they are all tough and reliable, they can be a bit unstable. However, this car is very stable, it can be a pain to work on, but just about anyone can stumble through a repair or upgrade on it. It's tough, plenty fast, drives well, and it's priced reasonably, so yes, I would recommend it. But, before you buy, explore some Arrma 3s cars, Traxxas BL-2S is is a great sub 300 dollar options as well, and of course you can always and easily upgrade over time with different power systems and parts on Traxxas and Arrma cars. But for 140 or so dollars, the MJX is hard to beat, it's seemingly hard to beat out in the real world as well.
On that dirt it could have been a bit better with the rally tires, had I not burned them down to slicks by drifting on the street that is. I think it could have won more races but not all of them. No RC cars win them all when we race that way, even using a gyro, you really have to drive on that loose dirt even going in a circle, so there's always opportunities for anyone in the race to win it. Sometimes the less powerful RC cars perform better there actually, because you can use almost all their power as opposed to having to manage the throttle constantly with a more powerful RC.
I’m new to rc cars but have not taken any of them out lol,I have the rlaarlo 12 scale and zd racing 8th scale and the famous mjx14210 and I have an rc motorcycle but I’m w😅that I can’t fix them when they go wrong.Thank for the reply

I'm near to calling it my budget of the year 2024 pick, but I've got something quite unique in the works, so I'm not sure yet.
@@Rek_Rcwhat would you call the best budget option
@@R1ZZY10 right. Now, it's the Arrma mega series
@@Rek_Rc oh alright thanks

From go to woe, one of the best rc car & aircraft vids I've ever seen. Excellent coverage.
OMG! You have no idea how much we appreciate comments like this. We're thrilled that you enjoyed the video and thank you so much for the kind words?
Great drone footage. And the MJX 14-series is a blast.
Unbelievable what they can do for the price, and the 14303 is the best handling MJX I've driven so far hands down.
Excellent video with close driving and aerial videography! Nothing broken too
Hahahah, you're right, other than a spur gear, it's a rare Rek RC video where all the cars survived?
Great video! I've got the hypergo 14301 and it is a blast! Burned through 1st set of tires on about 4 battery packs in a parking lot. So much fun.
Hypergo is always a good option for guaranteed smiles.

You make a good point about the go pros, I was actually shopping options today when I first saw your comment.
Can' t wait to receive mine....Lot of fun in perspective. The drone footages are great! Thanks for your entertaining vids and good vibes!
The 14303 is my favorite MJX. The way it looks, the way it drives, it's capable for its size, it's just good.
Great work flying the drone!!
That would be Tado at the controls for the drone.
Mine is on the Desk now, xD. i luv this video !
This video was so much fun to make, I forgot it was part of a review
Damn the little guy did great 👍🏼
Mjx baby! This 14303 is one of my favorites. Awesome comparison and great drone footage 👍✌🏼
I still I'll can't believe what that car could do and it just happened yesterday. I still can't believe it!
This is great stuff I always wondered why they didn't do this kinda stuff.
We love putting all kinds of cars and trucks together and see what happens
Gnarly nar nar 🎸 love the racing 🏆
It's so much fun to just mix it up, RC cars and trucks of all different types and just see what happens
MJX power 💪 great video dude 👍

@@Rek_Rc it is! We spent about an hour racing around the softball field. That car hauls ass!!
@OpieIsWatching it really scoots along for its size
That drone footage was awesome😊
We love to film our racing segments that way. It lets the viewer for along for the ride without the chaotic look of an action cam.

Tough one, I'd go new Grom though.

Is the mjx stock? Seems very fast 😂
Bone stock from the box and it's not even the fastest MJX! The 14210 can do 49 MPH
Insane speeds stock! Just ordered one. Subscribed too. Absolutely loved the drone footage.. I was cheering for the mjx!
drop a 3s battery in it and might be too much to handle but it would be blazing fast

Turn the gyro down to about 20%. That will help.
