My Mother was diagnosed with lung cancer on June 2nd and she came home June 21 on hospice and she passed on June 24...3 weeks is what our family had to digest this and at this time she was already stepping into the other side the hospital will have a booklet about going through the death process in case you need it and it is a godsend in case you need it which I hope you don't...peace and love to your father and Gigi🙏💗💙🙏

Yes drs are only making best guesses based on their experience and protocols. God knows the time regardless. I am sorry you had to go thru that and I pray you have the hope of eternity and its a long see ya not a permanent bye

Sadly I don’t think Roxanne knows what hospice is. I was with my brother when they told him they were putting him on hospice care and sadly he didn’t know what it is either. His doctor literally had tears in his eyes explaining it to him. Prayers for you during this hard journey 🙏🏻

Praying for you and your family during this time. I remember when they sent my daddy home from the hospital on hospice, he was 53 years old. He lived one year to the day almost. I thank the Lord for hospice, they are such amazing nurses who have such compassion and are so caring to not just their patients but also to the family. Praying for healing for your dad and your Gigi. God can and heal them both if we believe when we pray and all agree. Safe travels to you both on your journey to see them.

That stretch of highway you panned out for us to see I recognized. I've driven that road many times as a teenager when we brought/drove used cars from New Mexico into Arizona for my aunts used car lot. Back then $25.00 per car was good money. Where I worked we had a resident who was placed on hospice care for recurring pneumonia and due to being an older person. She did so well that hospice released them from their care. I don’t know your dad’s diagnosis but hospice care can be good and not necessarily mean the end is near. Prayers for Brian and GiGi. Safe travels, take care of each other.❤❤❤❤
I remember when my dad was very sick and then passed. Our pastor told me after he passed he was now healed. It brought me such peace.
