- The Greek island of Santorini is home to several towns. Perissa is a coastal village and known for the Perissa Black Sand Beach.
In this end-of-season tour (end October 2021) we visit Perissa. We start at the whitewashed Timiou Stavro church is topped by distinctive blue domes which are famous for the island of Santorini.
We get to the black sand beach, which is backed by restaurants and bars ... though almost nobody is there on this windy afternoon.
Our tour continues to walk around the center of the village where we also pass through some residential area.
After 15 minutes we are already back at our starting point at the Timiou Stavro church where we end this short walk through Perissa.

Thank you Jaroslav! There will be more interesting and longer walks of Greek islands coming. I recorded around a dozen various walks on this short trip in October. In Perissa I only spent maybe half an hour as I was staying in Fira from where I also did a 2h+ walk to the most picturesque Oia.
The sea was warm enough to swim still and the weather on other days was also way more sunny. More to come over the next weeks and months. Thanks watching!

Yeah, I spent some 3 weeks on Bali some years ago which I loved. That was before recording walks. The rest of Indonesia is still on the list. I'll see to get to the South East Asia region when it's easier
You should of walked the other way were all the bars were you didn’t show the good side of Perissa
Back end of October there were hardly any people around anymore but yeah, I believe during the season it's better to walk more along the coast. There are many more Santorini videos on the channel: th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=poptravel+santorini
